"Were it so easy."

My question is simple enough, and before you ask, yes, I looked for the answer elsewhere before posting here.

If you have a copy of Halo: Anniversary and Halo: Reach, can two Xbox's participate in a LAN party together and play the Halo: CE maps, or is there a compatibility issue? I'm trying it now, and the error message says "Players failed to load content. Content may be damaged or require the full version of Halo: Reach.", regardless of who is hosting.

I have downloaded the Halo: CE map pack onto Halo: Reach, and neither disc is scratched in the least. Is there some sort of software update I may need to be aware of, or is it some other issue I may be dealing with?

The maps are probably corrupted.

Download them again.

I ran into the same issue when I tried to set up a LAN between my copy of Anniversary and the DLC. It is odd that it won't work on LAN, because it is possible to share for a LIVE game.

"Were it so easy."

For any future user who may be reading this looking for a solution, the answer came in the form of making sure all game updates were... well, up to date. If you're in a position where you cannot download the required updates from Xbox Live, simply clear the cache on your hard drive on all Xbox's, thereby setting the updates to the correct version.
