Mission : being awesome!

First of all, I dont care about all you trolls out there who are probably gonna start commenting like crazy once i post this. Second, i wanted to post this because i wanted to always remember the good times we all had with not only Halo, but Bungie itself. I started playing Halo when i was 10. Halo : Combat Evolved. I remember playing with my friend John trying to beat the whole campaign on legendary. We would stay awake til 12 o'clock at night just trying to do the last mission. Then Halo 2 came out. Now with this also came the release of Xbox Live. My friends and I would stay awake playing Team Slayer, dominating everyone who we played with. Alot of my friends got bored with it and eventually moved on from Halo. Not me... Halo 3 was released in 2007. All my friends got back on Halo 2 for one more match before we transitioned over to Halo 3. Sadly, i wasn't able to get it opening day. Instead, i got it a year later for Christmas. Now, my friends were still playing, but they never were on. mostly because of school. But my friend John and i still played all night trying to beat the campaign... And of course... We stayed up til midnight xD... Halo : ODST dropped. Once again, all my friends were playing it. Alot of my friends renewed their gold to try and play Firefight with each other.. John and I completed the campaign. (If your asking what about Halo Wars. Forget it. I have it, i just didn't like it as much as the other ones. My opinion.) It was October of 2010, Most of my friends Didn't care anymore for Halo. They all moved on to CoD. John and I. Still tried to complete the campaign. Its 2012. Two years after the production of the latest Halo game. Even myself, have moved on to other games. But before i did John, told me that all my old friends are having a big team battle on Reach to commemorate the end of Bungie Producing Halo. Our team won xD. Its 2012. Its been 10 years. It passed by so fast. Too fast. Im out of school. I have a job. I have little time for games now. But once in a while i tend to go back on the old Halo games and play a few rounds. I'm gonna miss the old days.

But i guess we all gotta say goodbye someday.

Thanks for everything Bungie. You really made those ten years the best ten years of my life.

Ill See You Starside. We'll All See You Starside.

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

"Halo! Its divine wind will rush through the stars, propelling all who are worthy along the path to salvation."

When I read " My friend John and I.." I though you were talking about the Master Chief for a sec.

"This is the prototype NOVA Bomb, nine fusion warheads encased in lithium triteride armor. When detonated, it compresses its fusionable material to neutron-star density, boosting the thermonuclear yield a hundredfold. I am Vice Admiral Danforth Whitcomb, temporarily in command of the UNSC military base Reach. To the Covenant uglies that might be listening, you have a few seconds to pray to your damned heathen gods. You all have a nice day in hell..."

This is the story of the last 10 years of my life man!

Amen to the Leg' Campaign nights too! Me and my mate Jim used to NOT SLEEP till we had it mastered and all easter eggs found and all skulls too!

I think we were/are a little obsessed with it all.

Good times and great memories.

We got on Bungie favs one time too, but it was for giving the opposing team a double Extermination on a Bomb game.
We hung our heads in shame but still laugh at it now!

Still play all games, still love them! Always.

I remember when I first saw Halo. I was really young, sitting in the cart at a store, and I asked my mom (knowing I wouldn't get it but asked just for kicks) if I could get a game. That game was Halo: CE. It caught my eye because of the cover art. I think my mom said it was cool too. Years later, playing the first xbox, one day I decided I needed new games, for older kids (I think I was still like 10 or something) so I went and asked my best friend about what games are good. He had no idea, and I decided on Halo, so I went to the store, thinking I could only get one. Turned out they were about 10 dollars, so I got both. I was afraid of the aliens and mostly played multiplayer on Halo 2 by myself (didn't have xbox live, parents didn't want me with all those people, which was probably a good decision.) I got A xbox 360 (Which I wanted only for Halo 3) and Halo 3. I immediately told my parents to get xbox live, and I did, and when I tried to name my account Blue (my irl name) it didn't work, and UncagedBlue was suggested. To this day I use it on all my accounts, and respond to 'Un' or 'Uncaged' :P. I met a few friends on Halo 3 and made my way to other games, and my gaming expanded. All with my circle of friends, of znigz7, sully331, zexalpha2, shadowsclone247... good memories. So many games played, especially Halo 3, Halo Wars, not a whole lot of ODST, and Halo: Reach. Thanksgiving 2010 I went and watched youtube videos of COD, since I was bored, and saw a small video that was the start of a interactive Minecraft series by Tmartn, which was never followed out. I searched it and watched X and SeaNanners (I think(Definitely X though)) and got hooked. I was absorbed into PC gaming. You just heard most of my gaming career... except for earlier than that (thomas the train engine (that was fun) nemo (not so much) stuff like that which led me up to Halo and stuff.) Well, I hope you enjoyed my story. I certainly enjoyed yours.

See you Starside.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.
