Without The Flood, I wouldn't know what an opinion is.

I agree with two of the things you have said. Your noob for using the Sniper at close range and using the damn spamMR. Snipers are meant for use at long range. Hence the reason it is named Sniper Rifle. DMR is again a long range weapon Marksman Rifle As a player of Mw2 as well i actualy noticed the ACOG scope on the top of the DMR (So you can see and shoot at long range kiddies). The DMR also reminds me of a Automatic sniper rifle and is severly overpowered its huge ammount of autoaim proves any boaster about skill using wrong. Anyone who snipes at a long range and gets a good amount of headshots is fine for the use of the sniper and isnt a coward out of the fight. Dmr users are just wrong, I prefer the Battle Rifle. In an all honest opinion if you are actualy good with any gun and want to prove it Play on the same team as a opponent with betrayals off and no grenades or heavie weapons Ensureing no auto aim and no god awful boring explosives. Mele is severly nerfed to Halo:CE style, No lunge. I mean honestly you could also just press block communications or mute. Or Betray it out. Teams honestly prove nothing
I literally laughed out loud as I read this.
You use the sniper rifle at whatever range you're capable of using it effectively. It's completely irrelevant that it's loosely modeled after a weapon that in real life, is used exclusively at long range.
Your argument against the use of the sniper in CQC is like saying that you shouldn't use the Railgun in Quake because that kind of weaponry isn't practical against singular infantry targets.
Your argument against the DMR is also absurd. If you're playing to win (and I'm going to assume that you are, otherwise neither of our points are relevant), then you use whatever works. It doesn't matter that the DMR relatively dominant compared to the rest of the sandbox. It's there by design.
Your interpretation of skill is also flawed. If you want to play Halo like that, you'd be better off on PC twitch-shooter like Quake. Auto-aim has always been a part of Halo (mostly because Halo's been primarily a console title). Yes, it is ratcheted up Reach, but that's just part of Reach's gameplay mechanics.
