so theres all this discussion about the trailer and blah blah blah. well didnt you notice that in all the halo trailers at E3, nothing is what it seemed to be. i mean in Halo CE it showed the master chief with a sword! and in Halo 2 it showed master chief getting sucked into space without the covenant bomb! so there is a possibility that for this trailer some things aren't what they seem :D

only a few people in this forum understand this, the rest are ravenous fanboys riping the trailer to shreds for the slightest clue to H3. i say, let them :)

One shot: one kill, zero seconds to live

the trailers do usually show many scenes that won't be featured in the game. they're just there really to show fans what the game may be focused on, how good it will look, show the developers progress, and to get fans all hyped up. it looks like the H3 trailer did just that.

Well actually the trailer does have a very deep meaning supposedly. I think Bungie said something in the weekly update.

exactly. People think every single thing has to signify something to come in the actual game. I say we just wait untill the game comes out.

Were the trailers for Halo: CE and Halo 2 both rendered as parts of the games themselves, or rather as a video to show off what it was supposed to look like?

to show what it looked like, of course.

Then that would make somewhat of a difference. The Halo 3 trailer has been stated to be rendered as a portion of the game in real time.
