Sometimes, I dream about cheese.

i liked BUNGIE's decision of brining back the AR and a new flamethrower, the incendiary grenade was also interesting. the campaign was an ultimate disappointment IMO, wouldn't have been a big deal but I SPENT $120 FOR IT! only got half my moneys worth.

how about you?

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

Multiplayer lag

I loved everything else

EDIT: $120? I got it for £5 and now it's been reduced to £2.99. Although I did get it in 2011. Even then, new games over here are like £40-50.

$120 is still a lot. That is £75 over here and Halo 3 was £40 on release. What edition did you get?

I liked the campaign having a lot of subtle elements similar to CE and being like CE: consistent and balanced (barely though. The enemies were still damage sponges).

I disliked the last level. It's a fail tribute (but not as much as Reach). Should have been longer and had more interesting encounters. Also, you can't get a Flood army on this level because the game will delete them or Arby will kill them (and he'll teleport if you go to the pyramid).

I disliked the cp system. Of course, all the new Halo games had this problem. Freaking linear campaign. In new Halo games, it's been: get cp when you don't need it, never get cp when you need it.

I disliked how AI were deleted and even killed off.

I disliked how so many things were so inconvenient to do. It's a pain in the ass bringing a Hunter up an elevator, making half Flood, getting a Hornet army, getting AI battles to look nice, glitching stuff.

I disliked how slow things were (in campaign). The lack of button combos and weapon glitches made it 'finished' (like in Reach). In other words, everything slow. No quick reload, no backpack reloading, etc. Dual wielding was a bit better than in H2 as well as the needler but that's about it.

Finally, I dislike how it's always about Reach. Reach this, Reach that. Reach videos. Reach screenshots. Reach Reach Reach Reach. I see that everywhere and it drives me nuts. Reach supplanted all my work in H3 and tries to take H3's place next to CE and H2 when it is an insult to both games. Reach is nothing like CE and H2. Damage sponges, weak player, terrible weapons, bad allies. To those sayign Reach is supposed to be different, the only differences I noticed: AAs and Boom. Ignore those for a moment and it's a Halo game, a severely worsened one.

If anyone has any info on how to get a motercycle on halo 3 message me or halo reach plus the tankhog on reach

One of the best parts about Halo in general is the music and the skulls

Ghost, that last paragraph had nothing to do with Halo 3, truth be told. But I cannot say I disagree with some of your statements. But I will not dissect your opinion with my opinion, as it is clear that we both have massive amounts of time played in the opposite games.

OT-

I liked the Arbiter and his elite allies. They made Floodgate a lot more fun of a level. And that says something considering Floodgate is really linear. They also made The Covenant more enjoyable, though they shine less bright in that level.

I disliked how easy the campaign is. Brutes do not have shields which make it about as fun and challenging as killing some hunters. Dull AI and dumb mechanics. I think that is why I mostly focus on flood based missions. Even though the BR and dual PR's destroy the world, the flood can be challenging.

brutes DO have shields... unless your referring to halo 2 when they don't.

I have to admit, the no recharging shields thing is a major deterrence to those who liked Reach Elites. It shouldn't be because if one was fast enough in CE and H2, you could get headshots on the Elites. In Reach, there's hardly any time to get headshots because of freaking Bloom and suppressing fire.

H3 may have been easier but it was a lot more closer to CE and H2 combat, despite Brutes not being Elites.

Citing H3 Brutes as a disappointment is not one of the best arguments...

It was not a citation for an argument, it was merely my opinion.

I guess, but they don't recharge.

low population in some playlists is the only thing I hate in halo 3. Everything else is awesome.

  • 02.02.2012 8:23 PM PDT

Relax. I'd rather not piss this thing off.

Disappointment: Back when Halo 3 was popular that was alot of random multiplayer lag.

Pleased: Graphics, Matchmaking system, save films.
