I liked the campaign having a lot of subtle elements similar to CE and being like CE: consistent and balanced (barely though. The enemies were still damage sponges).
I disliked the last level. It's a fail tribute (but not as much as Reach). Should have been longer and had more interesting encounters. Also, you can't get a Flood army on this level because the game will delete them or Arby will kill them (and he'll teleport if you go to the pyramid).
I disliked the cp system. Of course, all the new Halo games had this problem. Freaking linear campaign. In new Halo games, it's been: get cp when you don't need it, never get cp when you need it.
I disliked how AI were deleted and even killed off.
I disliked how so many things were so inconvenient to do. It's a pain in the ass bringing a Hunter up an elevator, making half Flood, getting a Hornet army, getting AI battles to look nice, glitching stuff.
I disliked how slow things were (in campaign). The lack of button combos and weapon glitches made it 'finished' (like in Reach). In other words, everything slow. No quick reload, no backpack reloading, etc. Dual wielding was a bit better than in H2 as well as the needler but that's about it.
Finally, I dislike how it's always about Reach. Reach this, Reach that. Reach videos. Reach screenshots. Reach Reach Reach Reach. I see that everywhere and it drives me nuts. Reach supplanted all my work in H3 and tries to take H3's place next to CE and H2 when it is an insult to both games. Reach is nothing like CE and H2. Damage sponges, weak player, terrible weapons, bad allies. To those sayign Reach is supposed to be different, the only differences I noticed: AAs and Boom. Ignore those for a moment and it's a Halo game, a severely worsened one.
