I have fallen back in love w/ Myth : TFL. I played it to DEATH as a teenager. It was the first serious online game I had played and to this day its the best RTS game I've played.
Having a little trouble over @ Marius.net. I can't seem to register completely (I've filled out the form twice and am still awaiting confirmation emails heh). No worries though I'm going through the single player campaign probably before I'll enter the online arena.
I never did beat the campaign back in the day. It was too difficult for my impatient mind @ the time but now I'm better heh. Its really a great campaign.
I never played M2 and am definitely looking forward to getting into it and the multiplayer :) I bought the total codex.
WITH THAT SAID the main reason I wrote this thread is discuss other RTS games compared to Myth. I think the main reason I love Myth so much is the LACK of resource / unit management. Its brilliant... cause I hate that stuff for the most part in other RTS games. Its so boring...
I've played a bit of Halo Wars... not overly impressed. I really wish Bungie would have done it obviously they would have done a great job as Halo was originally to be a successor RTS to Myth... how would you guys compare Halo Wars w/ Myth?
Also... are there any other RTS games you guys play? Are there any other RTS games WITHOUT Resource / Unit management like Myth? I ask mainly because I know the community @ Myth is small (Which is cool and ok) so I wonder what else is out there in case I have trouble finding games sometimes.
Thanks for reading...
ps how does Stracraft compare? I remember it was popular when Myth was but Myth killed it :)
