I apologize in advance for all the crappy jokes I make.

I have just played Marathon so...

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Marathon.

So you may have heard of this "Halo" game they made.
But honestly, Marathon 2.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

LOl, so much Marathon. I like Marathon, but it can give you a huge headache if you play it too long.

Yep...

I am definitely a Myth guy. Myth is the -blam!-, a hard-core RTT game with tons of explosions.

I have Pathways into Darkness but I am working to get it to run on my new system.

I don't have a slot for this, LOL

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

Halo

It had to be said

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”

So, just about everything before Halo?

I'm a Halo guy, it's what got me into online gaming and it's what brought me to this site. I've played the older games, but I just don't like them. I'm too used to the things I take granted nowadays that I find it too hard to play games like Marathon.

Marathon. The series in general, they are all pretty similar.

I want to try Minotaur but that requires internet games, etc.

Operation Desert storm is a simple tank game with a floating head of Saddam Hussein.

Gnop, it is a pong remake that laughs at your defeat.

Weekend Warrior, LOLOLOL.

I like Halo a lot but I can't really decide my true favorite Bungie game/series.

See, I think it is interesting to see what Bungie has done and what they are today. That is one of the things that makes their old games so interesting, they have character, they are all unique.

Wasnt it published by the founder of bungie before he made the company?

Alex Seropian made the first "Bungie" game in 1990 called Gnop (all by himself), later he teamed up with Jason Jones to make Minotaur which sold around 2,000 copies. Their first real big game was Pathways into Darkness which sold 20,000 copies.

When Alex made Bungie it was a 1 man army.

Now Alex Seropian works for the Disney interactive studios.
