Your opinion on the best thing Bungie ever did? Go ahead. Spit it out, please. Mine is honestly the Silent Cartographer level from Halo: CE.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Halo CE was awesome.

I liked Halo 2 a lot and I liked how Bungie expanded on the story of the covenant.

I like Myth also, really fun to play on my Laptop when it is bored and it has a decent amount of people to play with.

First time I have ever seen an employee drop by the Universe forum. Nice. On topic: I think the best thing Bungie has ever done is create the Halo universe. The environments, species, story, timeline and mystery of it all make it astonishingly great. The Halo has series ended up as not just a series, but an incredibly huge universe with virtually infinite potential to expand.

Edit: Typo

Anyway, I commend Joseph Staten for his work of art that was ODST.

All worlds begin in darkness. And all so end.
The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it, it grows, consumes it. Such is it's nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came. You see, darkness is the hearts true essence.

I personally loved the double XP weekends on Halo 3, especially Living Dead. So much fun and lulz were had.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot - legendary endings. Those really did it for me.

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

The pinnacle of Bungie's writing, in my opinion, is the scene where Johnson dies in Halo 3.

Not everyone can die in a last stand, and if they did, it would be a romanticized mess, not something believable. Same thing with Kat's death, the most profound one (except N6's) because of the immediateness of it.
