Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.
-blam!- all of you fanboys!
This is a classic case of someone trying to be cool by going against the norm.
Blood Gulch put Halo into the big time.
Without it, I honestly think most people would think differently of Halo in General today.
Back when XBconnect was the only option, what were people playing?
Classic CTF games on Bloodgulch. Mostly Warthogs only, unless you were an unsporting host.
Because everyone on XBConnect knows that Hosts with Ghosts over XBConnect is the most retarded one-sided match you will EVER PLAY!
Now, I don't see all that much difference of the current architecture from then to now. Other than the god-awful settings that Bungie forced everyone to play that map with.
Hate the game, not the map.
Out of ALL the maps, Blood Gulch was "THE ONE".
Disagree all you want, doesn't make you right.
