I love the reference in here of Scary Kids Scaring Kids. One of my hometown heroes. I give you props on that one.

Listing songs for this is extremely hard, especially only 5! My life is music. Music is my life but I won't get into that. The list I'm about to present is just some stuff that I feel would get me into that huge killing mode.

1.The Clincher-Chevelle(I would actually put maybe some Comfortable Liar in that spot but I'm sticking with what I said. I picked these songs just for the way the way they are structured.)
2.Bleeds No More-Silverstein(Either that or Smile In Your Sleep. Something along those lines)
3.Dancing Through Sunday-A.F.I.(This one also presented some other stuff I could throw in there. Just gunna go with this one for here.)
4.Delirium Trigger-Coheed And Cambria(Basically any song by Coheed could be put in here for that matter. I'm an insanely huge fan)
5.Tip The Scales-Rise Against(Well, it just had to be said. Haven't seen too much of this type of stuff on here.)
BONUS!!!???
6.Paperthin Hymn-Anberlin
7.I Set My Friends On Fire-Aiden(Well, either this one or The Last Sunrise)
8.Crimson-Atreyu(Yes, I went there.=D)
9.Any song by Breaking Benjamin. They all fit so you can come to your own conclusion on that one.
10.This Song Goes Out To-Greeley Estates(This or Glimpes. Well, hell, any song by Greeley would fit. Get a life and listen to these guys once in a while. Another one of those hometown heroes...)

I know you're thinking that this stuff doesn't fit into Halo. I'm rendering these songs as based on that they stimulate your mind while listening to them and get you extremely pumped...It's just a proven fact. Well, for the 10 songs instead...it was just too hard for only 5. Yell away at me for my apparent not knowing of what music is good haha.

I dont want a song to kill grunts 2. I want to hear what they have to say before I massacre them all. I loved all the cool little speech Easter Eggs of grunts and elites in Halo 2...

5. Down with the sickness - Disturbed (small fights like with 2 or 3 grunts or 1 elite)
4. Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit (all out war!! 15 elites, more grunts than you can count,
5 brutes, 6 hunters, 20 drones.)
3. Scum of the Earth - Rob Zombie (vehicle fights like when MC's in a banshee or tank)
2. Headstrong - Trapt (walking around those relaxing moments in between fights)
1. Blow me Away - Breaking Benjamin (boss fight(s) good old classic Halo track)

I feel ashamed. I completely forgot Senses Fail from this list. I don't care which song or which spot. Any of them are kick ass Halo songs.

My choices are slightly odd, but I think they would have their place.

O GREEN WORLD- Gorillaz,

The discordant nature of this song and its weird beat would make it really appropriate for trecking over the ruination of earth.

DRAGULA- Rob Zombie

Because it Gets my adrenaline going every time, and is OH so appropriate for alien murderocity.

HEAT- 50 cent

I know that halo is no place for rap, but the beat on this track reads somthing like this:
"click-clunk BANG *repeat ad nauseum*"
Now anyone can tell you that a shotgun inderspersed with a machinegun is definately halo.

I SHOT THE SHERRIF- Bob Marley

I think this would kind of work with all sound effects tured off in the way that the psychadelic and humerous music of apocalypse now works.

WE ARE GODZILLA YOU ARE JAPAN- Lostprophets

An odd one for sure, I'm not really a fan of the band, but for a moshy song to get your gun ripping through grunt. I wouldn't discount it.

I dont know if anyone has posted a topic like this so shout at me if they have.

ok, Taking adavantage of the 360's ability to have custom sound tracks in any game
what 5 tracks are you gonna have to rock out to whilst saving the world. i mean you could slaughter grunts whilst rocking to slayer or speeding in a warthog whilst crusing to steppenwolfs "born to be wild" or just walk around and admire the graphics to some good old lemon jelly.

So i ask you fellow bungie fans, what five tunes are you desperate to play Halo 3 to?

for me

1. gurrelia radio - rage against the machine (for all out war)
2. firestarter - the prodigy (for those close combat moments)
3. tribulations - lcd soundsystem (great for just relaxed playing)
4. come to daddy - aphex twin (two words, shotgun + flood)
5. born to be wild - steppenwolf (for that massive warthog run that bungie should put in at the end of the game hint hint)

P.S (no offense to marty's fantastic and inspireing musical skill im sure we all will forget we can have custom sound tracks after we are left in awe at his amazing tracks)

Your ideas suck and Halo 3 would flop if they did that.

Just stick to Martys music.
