Bleedthrough damage is too much to handle, it's only made the AR much more powerful.
A few AR bullets + Melee = Instant Death.
Reach wasn't built to support that change. Halo 3 had it perfect because your health would recharge after a firefight. In Halo Reach, you have to rely on Med packs for survival. Seriously, you won't have enough health to survive another battle. Weaken the Melee power to 75% and everyone should be happy.
To be fair, if you have the DMR, you can pretty much disregard the "melee" part entirely, and nobody ever complains about that. The Assault Rifle still sucks.
Also, there are health packs every ten feet, it's not like they're a precious commodity or anything.It's not like I have something against bleedthrough, it just doesn't suit Reach's sandbox for some reason.
I don't mind the AR, but it's ridiculous that you can take minuscule damage, followed by a lethal Melee hit and you are almost dead.
