Play this first

Its similar to Halo 3 and post reach. It destroyed the Halo 3 forum, it was brutal. The only thing left is a ghost town and a wasteland. (Kinda like Ghost town on H3 ^_^)

With the final transition coming up in the next few months Bungie .net as we know it might fall. Its not as if the gaming forums will be relevant anymore. I have witnessed it all, the Halo 3 forum used to be a lot more active than what the Reach forum is at right now.

The flood and the community will be the only active forums left, but lets be honest here, everything has an end.

In short, the majority of the forums will be dead, except for two, and the new member count will decrease. The only people left will be the old -blam!-s and they will eventually move on.

The community will be ignorant and shameless, but trust me, you will regret it. It was just like the Halo 3 forum, so unknowing so innocent, but I have learned and have come to warn you. Enjoy it while it lasts.

You seem to be under the impression that Bungie won't be releasing a new game in the future...

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

This is better music

But, the stats are almost dead.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

I'm going to love the silence after Halo is completely gone. It'll make the Destiny era seem even better.

Also, you do know how big The Flood and Sapphire are, right?

How well did the crimson forum do. Yes, it wasn't bungies game, but it still did poorly. With every new forum made the activity has gone down the drain into a large cess pool.

You said it yourself, Crimson wasn't made by Bungie just published by them. Therefore it isn't an accurate representation of what activity will be like when Bungie release their actual next game.

Which you have no information about.

I think you should realize Halo isn't Bungie's first rodeo.

Despite your command of descriptive language and metaphor, what you're saying still fails to make the slightest bit of sense.

Nobody does. I serious don't understand people like you, that either want Bungie to fail or think that they will just because they are no longer developing Halo...

LOL at people who think Bungie is gonna fall.

Bungie has had great success in the past with no funding and little fame.

I don't Phoenix is a good metaphor, that was a Bungie project the failed horribly apparently. :/

I can't tell if you guys are serious or not. You guys have your head so far up your ass that you have to eat things twice.

Its plain and simple, we have no idea about how long it will take for bungie to develop their new game. Their previous games took three years to make. If you guys are willing to sit around on bnet with nothing to keep it active except from the same threads being created every other day feel free to.

I just felt like informing the rest of the population about my thoughts and predictions.

Get a grip on reality and realize that this place isn't even close to as active as it was 5 years ago.

We will, see all of us here are Bungie fans. We like coming here, and we will wait a long time to get the best possible game Bungie can and WILL make.

But since that project probably turned into at least part of Halo 2...

Okay, now I'm just confused about the purpose of this thread. Of course it isn't as active, Bungie have no recent games that they still control, what are people supposed to talk about? There will no doubt be a surge of new members with the announcement of Bungie's new IP.

Yep, I wonder how soon it will be seeing as we now have a group comprised of moderators and employees in "HFCS 2" that is supposedly a "welcoming committee".

Didact's Reprisal -
Now is the time of our unworlding
One final effort is all that remains
And I am not afraid
We shall fulfill our promise
We fight for the grace of the Mantle
And this time none of you will be left behind

I've been here longer. I have heard the whines and cries of those just like you, and all have been wrong. Since "experience" is the only basis you have, does mine not trump yours?Posted by: JusSeeMe

Bungie was working on their new project the same time they were working on Reach, at least since Reach was announced to be released. Following your flawed logic once more, this game will be out a lot earlier than you give credit.

P.S.-
..are willing to sit around on bnet with nothing to keep it active except from the same threads being created every other day feel free to.. That's no different than any other day, active/inactive.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

Well it is 2012...

If I got a nickel for every time Bungie.net fell after someone predicted it, I'd still be flat-ass broke.
