smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

The Ninjas would be ticked if Bungie began deleting Private Groups.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

Private groups are still quite important. I myself post more in private groups that in the mains.

Private groups bring new light to bungie.net. I can't wait till they get an overhaul because, well, they need it.

Dianna Agron is the epitome of perfection.

Quinntology.

That would alienate a vast number of Bungie.net members. I doubt it will happen.

They're is only really a couple of active groups, and thats sapphire, eros, the mlp group, coup group and thats about it.

So the only groups that are active are the ones that you are apart of? You should probably pay more attention to this website.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Believe it or not, private groups are what has kept this community together for so long. Their creation was, and is, the best thing to happen to Bungie.net. The ability for a clan of friends to create a private place to talk, to organize, to enjoy. Private groups hold a larger (although scattered) community-base than the mains (IMO). Bungie would have to be out of their mind to consider removing groups; they're the reason most people here return to Bungie.net everyday.

The fact that groups are dying or going into a "downward spiral" is due to lack of group interest and/or the group's administration. Not Bungie.

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

I post more in private groups than I do in the public forums.

I find private groups to be very important! All of the groups that I am in, are precious to me.

Chief vs the scarab? I find that hard to believe to roundhouse boot the scarab's figurative emotion out of the gaming zone.

If there were no private groups, I would have quit visiting this place ages ago.

I think that a lot of people use private groups. Personally, I don't. But I doubt they would be removed as a feature.

Of course they're important! How else are we supposed to chat about things that would otherwise break public forum rules?
