To think that people want Reach nades to share the same physics as Halo 3...

I want Halo CE nade physics.

In my experience that's been a common use for grenades since Halo 2.

Yes, but the issue now is that it's a far more effective tactic for unskilled players.

How is that?

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

It's easier to get extremely good nade placements because of the way they bounce and how short the fuse is and harder to avoid them once they are coming at you because of slower movement speed and low jump height.

Also every splatter was one-hit KO, even if was a vehicle rolling to a stop...

We're not talking about vehicles. We're talking about grenades.

Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

These kids and their GB NADES MAN!!!!!!

I love how just the impact of a grenade hurts you. I mean not the explosion but the grenade impact itself. What is with that?

And it's really no use jumping to avoid them you stand a better chance if you stay on the ground.

They're not. They just explode too fast and we're too slow.
actually they are.

if a sticky were to land beside me, not under my feet but beside me while me shields were around half drained, the nade wouldn't kill me. in reach and in the same scenario, it would.

  • 02.04.2012 10:57 PM PDT

There are three people I serve. God, Chuck norris, and Evilcam.

They're overpowered?

  • 02.04.2012 11:00 PM PDT

Well they were worse in the beta so consider yourself lucky.

people who cant aim rely heavily on nades, its been like that since the beginning.

bungie listened to the community and i guess alot of people couldn't aim.

just my 2 cents.

lolol

  • 02.05.2012 3:03 AM PDT

dont like my driving? stay off the sidewalk

so people who cant aim have a better chance at competing with the skilled players.

No they aren't.

You should have seen the grenades in the beta.

  • 02.05.2012 4:24 AM PDT

The problem is not how powerful the nades are the problem is that when one is coming at you you can't get away from it.

  • 02.05.2012 5:13 AM PDT

I'm out.

No, H3 got nades perfect. In Reach the nades are just a touch too strong. And completely unavoidable since you can't jump over them for some reason.

  • 02.05.2012 5:46 AM PDT

Am I the only one who feels like nades have the H3 fuse with HCE power?
