Hitscan something for connection's sake.. But it shouldn't crap on vehicles like the DMR.

If you have to lead your shots, connection plays a bigger factor.

I have Canadian connection

True. This is one big drawback to the H3 BR. A hitscan BR host is equally formidable IMO though. In H3, you could counter foreign host (not in extreme cases) with an unpredictable strafe.

When I shoot the dmr, 98% of the time, it will register. Strafing at the moment is crucial. It is all about who misses the shot first. Since shots register, a strafe seems more important.

It was really annoying when you apparently 'missed' shots in Halo 3.

Lead your shots.

It prevents players getting sniped from across the map by a BR.

Sometimes, I dream about cheese.

leading shots, don't know why but it seemed easy to kill enemies in Halo 2 than the rest of the games.

Hitscan is the only, non retarded option.

Just not infinite range like the DMR.

Lead your shots would be ideal skill-wise but in matchmaking connection plays a big part so that would be out of the question. Hitscan without infinite range is the most logical choice.

I see we're assuming though that the burst BR will be returning as opposed to a single shot rifle. It really is up in the air at this point, though I also assume it's a good thing that the first weapon we saw was the magnum. Let's hope it at least doesn't suck.

I don't care about how much "skill" leading your shots takes or doesn't take. It adds randomness. Which, no one wants besides people who would lose all their fights otherwise.

Marine Corps.
Semper Fi.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Depends on how much one has to lead their shots. I think leading shots at 20 meters is somewhat of a joke.

Forget it man, and get with the countdown. Shake this square world and blast off for Kicksville.

Reach host ranking algorithm: (a*quit_percentage + b*isMexican + c*(1/KDR) + d*hasGuest) * 100
where a > b = d > c

If the game was only ever played on LAN, and didn't have a sizeable dose of aim assistance, I'd vote for shot-leading.

Hitscan all the way.

Hey, uh, if you like vs threads, then check out this little group right here, if you have the time. It's pretty fun, just hop right in.

The female Spartans should have a reloading animation like the one from Grenadier, where they throw bullets out of their cleavage and catch them with their gun.

That'd kick ass.
