What new hawtness? Seriously I have no idea what you are talking about. Please explain.
Achronos has been hinting that the site is about to get a major update, the next iteration in a long line of new hawtnesses.
I just want an outbox, better text formatting (more options), and some updates to groups.Where did he hint this? I have a post from urk made in November (I think?) that suggests the New Hawtness is a long ways off. Where's this post from Achronos that hints to this?
He mentioned it in the ride along write up.

Bungie.net has changed a lot visually over the lifetime of Halo, but it has been fundamentally altered only twice during the Halo era - once in 2001 when we changed it from a Myth site to Halo site (and added the fanclub chapters), and then in 2004 when we switched to the code base that has been in use since then. The transition to the post-Halo Bungie.net won't just be a visual change with a few new/altered features. It has served us well this last decade, but we have a window where we can build ourselves tech that will last us the next decade. I won't talk specifics, of course, but we're taking everything we've learned over the last decade and building ourselves a brand new battle station. I can't wait to share it with you.
He also mentioned it here.

You're probably feeling frustration because Bungie as a whole is currently "dark". I'll just leave you with this, though: considering there hasn't been a major functional change to bungie.net for a significant period of time... just what do you think the Web Team has been doing? If you knew that you had a window where you weren't releasing stuff (and therefore had an extended period of time to work compared to your usual time)... what would you do? :)Ahhh. Cheers. I hadn't caught those. :)
