Seriously, what the heck? I played a few games of Squad Slayer this evening and almost everybody kept choosing AR starts. It's frustrating as hell because an AR rusher only has to get your shields to about 50% to pummel you and get a beatdown. I don't mind bleed-through with DMR starts as much, except for the occasional headshot when I still have shields, but this is rediculous. I like the TU, but I cannot stand to be AR rushed and pummeled by somebody after I've put 3 DMR bullets in their head.

All the TU does in AR starts is make AR rushing more prevalent and abused because it's so much easier to get kills that way than "fair" shooting.

No, I'm not terribly bad at the game. My overall KD sucks but I generally do well, or at least decent, in most games.

I didn't see that. I saw everyone whoring and spamming the conker and AR rushing every game. I refuse to use my AR unless I need to reload my DMR/MAgnum and a quick spray is all I need to get a kill. And I refuse to resort to such noobish tactics, especially since the TU makes it twice as easy.

Please...stop getting butthurt when I noscope you from the passenger seat of the vehicle I'm riding in :D

Only thing wrong with TU is Melee Damage should be 90%, so it takes that little more damage with the AR to die from a melee and makes the DMR a guaranteed 3 shot + melee = kill. (Sometimes 2 shots and a melee will kill, other times it wont.)

If you're within melee-range, then the AR should beat the DMR nearly every time. The AR is close-range. DMR is mid to long range. It only makes sense. Quit complaining.

@Traffic Coned: I was going to edit my post above to say 75% as well, but I feel melees will lose focus. I know 50% in Anniversary makes them completely useless.

That's just it, I am talking medium range. Some punk sprays with the AR just enough to get shields down to 50%, then rushes for a melee. It doesn't happen TOO often but it prevents me from saying the TU is a vast improvement over default settings. It's a big improvement... but the melee damage needs to be lowered.
