Do you think we should have squad commands in Halo 3? (Like Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter?) I think it would be a good combination for the game. Just think of controlling squadrons of Marines as troops or in vehicles. Or even have a team of Spartans at your side! (*if possible*) So what are your opinions?

Use the d-pad for a lean function instead of commands is what I say.

Sure, put the D-pad to a good use. ;)
A lean function would be too GR2 and I don't see any reason for that unless it's for sniping or something.

yes, why? because the Marines are stupid thats why. They got killed for being stupid in Halo 2 and in Halo. If you could command them, just have simple commands like take cover or surpressive, just so they dont get killed as easily, also it would make you think more, not just run and gun. Commanding would open up a whole new ways to play in Halo 3, but it propbably wont be a reality, but im with the idea all the way.

That would ruin Halo. This isn't Tom Clancy.

You can't put one in. half the marines don't even have helmets, let alone one with a COM system in it. The d-pad is better off for leaning. Another reason, half the levels you run alone through with no comrades, and sometimes it isn't because they got themselves killed, stuck, or just don't want to advance any further in the map.

Plus a lean function could allow for you to see enemies starring at you from the other side of the corner, but give a smaller chance of being detected. It sucks when you're in legendary and when you walked around a corner some jerk saw you so all the snipers shoot you almost simultaniously.

It really does suck.
