IN side the suit was an absorbent fabric that fit his skin. Behind it was a temp controller gel layer. When he first climbed in the suit it would warm to his temp, then would cool down some to make sure he didn't overheat. The books never got into detail if it constantly cooled him or if he would sweat, but since the fabric was absorbent they probably expected him to sweat. Either way it did say it fit him so tightly yet comfortably that he wouldn't have known he was in the armor if he closed his eyes. It was like a really tough second skin. I would bet, however, that unless they did use an enzime solution it would smell badly. We use it on our helmet pads, we sweat into them and they can stink, the enzime solution cleans that out well.
