Si-!

So, Bungie was obviously eager to leave the control of Microsoft. After Bungie Aerospace was announced, I began wondering what it really meant.

Sure, maybe Bungie's only intentions are to help indie developers make games and promote them. That explanation makes sense.

However, maybe what Bungie is trying to do is gain enough revenue from publishing indie games so that they can end up funding and publishing their own games. Over the next ten years, if Bungie keeps increasing the scope of Aerospace and the amount of games they publish, theoretically they could end up like Valve, having complete and total creative freedom with any game they make.

I think that would be awesome. No longer would they have to cater to the likes of Microsoft or Activision fro publishing approval.

Could not one argue that they are already publishing games through Aerospace? Anyway, they've partnered with Activision for, I believe, the publishing of their next IP.

I know that they are already publishing games but right now they only seem to be doing a couple. I'm talking about large scale publishing that would bring them in tons of cash.

And while Activision may not have much control over the current IP, I'm sure that Bungie and Activision had to come to some agreement over what can and can't be in the game.

Without any publisher to impress, Bungie could make ANYTHING.

Activision doesn't have a say in what can be in Bungie's next game/s, so Bungie can make anything they want.
