Yes Would be great.:  34%

No Wouldn't work.:  66%

Total Votes: 59

This is why I think it would be nice.

When someone post a thread I go in read it and start coming up with an answer or a response just to see after I'm done that someone posted the same thing so there for mine really doesn't matter.

Also I don't know if it would work or not to delete your on thread that you made so that when you post it then see that someone already posted one you could quickly delete it or should that power only Go to the Forum Ninjas?

So what do you Guys think? I don't know if someone already made a thread about this, but I haven't seen it. I'm sure someone has already made one while i was typing this one haha.

Please Discuss.

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

People would post offensive stuff and then delete it before the mods see it

*writes a post questioning the combined parentage of the OP and his family*

*waits two minutes for him to get a chance to read it*

*deletes post, eliminating the evidence so the mods don't ban me*

Yeah... wouldn't work out so well.

No. It would be abused far too easily.

Yeah I kinda thought that too.. what if you only were able to do it like one or two times a day or something?

There really isn't a need for one as of now. Either people will use it to remove pointless posts they regret making or people will use it to troll with. Right now, the edit button works if you want to remove/change a post.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

It's not that it wouldn't work for it's intended use, but it's just that people would find a way to exploit it.

  • 02.07.2012 2:07 PM PDT

Exploitation would be horrendous.

Yeah I see everyone's points thanks for posting at least maybe they'll see this and know not to do it.

I didn't vote No because it wouldn't work, I voted no because I feel it is just a bad idea. No offense intended but that submit button is your finalized draft, and if you mess up in some way you can at least edit it.

Getting rid of it? Never. They'd find some way on this site to make it horrendously annoying or use it immaturely. You know who they are.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

Why? So you can erase your mistakes?

I don't like this idea.

Isn't editing the post to say "never mind" or something similar just as good?

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

1. Post an extremely offensive topic

2. Use it to laugh at B.net's community

3. Delete topic

It might sound like a "ok" idea to some, but I think it's just fine without without one, it would simply be overly abused if it was available.

There are three people I serve. God, Chuck norris, and Evilcam.

I think if we had that then it would be a bit abused.
