Subject: New Video (Very basic explanation of Reach's spawn system)

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

Pretty much common sense, and this happens on all maps with static spawns. Hemorrhage is very, very predictable when it comes to spawns.

wow halo reach is STILL BAD!!!

at 1:20 you killed him at rocks and at 1:30 you for some reason looked at rocks and got flanked because he spawned snipe side. at 3:00 you killed him at courtyard so he was going to spawn flag or rocks. at 3:20 you said he wasnt going to spawn rocks because you just killed him at rocks. also you forgot to mention the under turret spawn.

i hardly play 1v1 but from my understanding of watching a games and playing mlg playlist, the main spawns are big rock, back rocks, flag, under turret, hut, and courtyard. someone previously said in this thread that there was a jump up spawn. p.s. there isnt one.

Zealot and Countdown spawns give me the most trouble.

I've never looked at Zealot in forge so I don't know the spawn areas, but I have a basic strategy. I assume they won't spawn where my teammates are and try to spot them as quickly as possible. This let's me guess the general area where they started and guess how far and to what places some of their teammates could have traveled.


I find Countdown spanws are really easy to learn/predict.

Zealot however makes no sense. I've had teammates on Blue Flag and landing. Yet I spawn Ring 2 while the other team spawned Red 1. If anything I find they spawn underneath whichever base your on most of the time.
