Wheres Meh Sniper?

Youtube page

only time I've ever looked at an emblem and admired it, is when it shows some sort of achievement, like the ODST Fire Fight one. Other then that not really.

The Song Of Nephilim

Xenoblade <3

Never would I do something like that. Unless they were trying to make the male genitalia with a halo emblem or something else along those lines.

Racism isn't wrong if it's funny.

I think that the Avatar can say a lot about the person posting next to you.

Dead Mans Hand-Always Loaded.

I WAS SOCK

There are a few avatars that make me cringe subconciously, but other than that no.

I think its just avatars I've related to members I'm not fond of, and then new users start using them.

Don't quickly judge and exaggerate someone's profile by their appearance. Just because they look differently, doesn't mean you can assume that they would act similar to another person on bnet.

  • 02.08.2012 9:20 AM PDT

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

The Button

No, it's kind of stupid to judge someone based on their avatar.

This. Tho, an avatar is an extension of one self, making it at-least a partial reflection on the poster's maturity / personality.

The thing that I use to decide on a user?

It's to the right of their avatar, below their title bar and above where their sig used to be.

Actually avatar do make us see people and make a certain view of them. We create an image of them by their avatar.

I don't see any signature.... Unless it's an optional. :P

I also agree with you, that's the best device to know someone's bias by reading the text in that area you prescribe, Recon Number 54.

My sentiments on this matter as well.

A picture doesn't promote anything positive or negative. What you say does.

I normally don't do something like judge somebody on their avatar. Unless, that is, they're using the one where a spartan is t-bagging another spartan. When I see that one, I immediately disregard that person's posts.

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

Nope.avi
/that is unless the user has the default fallowed by a member rank Trololol

  • 02.08.2012 10:03 AM PDT

Not really. The avatars don't exactly reflect peoples' personalities/intelligence.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Very rarely. Only if it's one of the stupider avatars, and even then it doesn't change how i act to them.

Everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

I'm part of the Bungie.net Minecraft group/server called SeptaCrafters
We're a Bungie.net group that goes to our very own Bungie server. Most players are from the Halo community either off Bungie itself or through word to Halo friends.

Your experiment is flawed competently.

It depends on the people who are on, their mood, your subject, the day events.

And yes avatar matters. Halo 2 emblem > Halo 3 emblem

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

Yes, actually, I still find some avatars annoying and will sometimes treat users with said avatar differently. Other than a few that have come to stand for a few members in my mind, I don't care.

I cant see why i could judge someone by there avatar, Only thing i look at avators for is maybe there into Marathon, Myth, etc.

I let my haters be my motivators.

Player models are guys who came here with Halo 3 and they probably post in the Halo 3 or Reach forums, they have been migrating slowly to the other forums since bungie went dark. I'd say, generally, they are younger users.

None of this pertains to me. Your logic is flawed!

I don't judge anyones avatar. Unless you're using a Spiker or Mustache Bomb, that's just terrible.
