if they blow up by chain reaction, we have a voluntary suicide ship at delta halo and a fleet of ships containing earths population at the halo that explodes last, then have the suicide ship tell us when the delta halo was set off and the fleet imidietly slipspaces to those coordinates, safe from the explosion that just passed.

^^ so, maye while in slipspace you get ''hit'' by the halo wave?? If you dont, Forerunners (who i think are human-type poeple) could still be alive?

O and maybe the Ark was the '' normal '' area to activate the Halos from, and NOT to activate them from the halo itself....

PS. its not really needed to take up 1/8 of the page quoting me, jsut say like i did ''Heaters, regarding what you said............''

Earth is safe from the blast from the halo's?
Hidden meaning in that bungie/halo symbol thingy?

Earth is the Arc/Ark. It's also safe from the flood(Noah's Ark is safe from a FLOOD of water) and the blast from the halo's.
Would be logical to fire the Ark/Earth's defenses when being safe yourself on the Arc.

Just something to ponder on, nothing concrete (yet).

Edit: Explaination of picture.
The rings on the picture are the 'ranges' of the halo's, not the halo's themselves.

Tell your art teacher he's wrong.

Also, while white is the absence of color, black is all colors simultaneously.

For most people in general, however, if you can find it in a box of Crayolas, it's a color.

Actually, White is all colors, and Black is the absence of color.
And you're right about Indigo, it 'is' a color.

Ok, so the "Seventh Coloumn" design definitely has a meaning, like everything else related to bungie, but I dont think it has anything to with that theory. Sorry.

You all seem to think that the wave of death from the Rings can be avoided, it can't. The Ring's effective range is 2.5 galactic radii. (343 guilty spark says it.) that means that the area affected is 5 times the size of the Milky Way galaxy. Sorry dude, but you are dead if you activate a Ring.

Sorry to burst your bubbles even more, but as 343 says, "In the case of an emergency shutdown, all of the rings are put on standy to be activated from a remote location." "The ARK, of course." That means that the ARK is not the primary means of activation, but a secondary failsafe.

I will however mention that there may be some truth to your theory of the Monitor color, but the hologram should have something more.

The Theory makes sense. I doubt if the monitor's colour scheme is relevant to the story: however, if the red, blue and green are singled out as being in charge of the "primary" rings (the 3 larger rings) there could be something in it.

Amazing that it never occured to me that a monitor (or something else left behind by the Forerunners) would indeed be incharge of the Ark!
