Go to www.llama.com and they have walk throughs for fixing your controlers and your xbox. I've tried it and it works great.

Actually, my bro stepped on my s-controller's right thumbstick and jammed it in. It sounds like your predicament. I checked both joysticks to see any differences but no, there werent any. I also checked my friend's big controller and there were still no differences. I finally figured out that the appendage sticking into the joystick that controls the movement and crouching action on the controller was pushed down to the point that the copper "holder" which holds the appendage in place was dislocated. This dislocation caused the controller to not react right whenever I looked around and I couldnt crouch anymore. I tried relocating the copper pice back into place but it would not go in, no matter what I did. If this is your problem, you can try getting it back in youself (you'll require a very thin metal rod like a pin and a LOT of patience) but I ended up just buying a new controller.

Get the smaller S controller, they're better.

Hey - did you guys see those new wireless controllers? I think logitech makes em. They made one for the xbox and another for the ps2 but they look the same except for different color variations. I have one of those and I can be playing Halo in my kitchen while the xbox is in my living room (about a good 20-30 ft away). So whenever my friends try to kill my guy while I'm away I can surprise them and take em out. Take that afc (away from controller) killers!
