"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

Whenever I play TS, especially alone, I seem to lose a great deal, even though I have a great start. I always call out and time weapon respawns, and i generally play as a support player. I find myself dying very often, even when I try to stay way out of the action. Even in games where I feel I did well, I tend to go negative. On the off game where I do go positive, it's almost always on a game where we lose. So does anyone have some tips for how to play as a support player and go positive consistently? I realize that's like asking "how do I win more" but I'm seriously mystified as to how I keep losing so much. I'm always tempted to run on my own, since teammates never seem to be on. The thing that bothers me is that I try to respond to other players' callouts, and I usually just try to defend our side or put shots on enemies. How is it that I end up dying so frequently?

I'm afraid you will need to carry if you are searching alone, If you sit back and you have garbage teammates you will lose. Playing in 2's is pretty easy. Find someone who gets alot of kills then you can sit back a bit and be more passive.

Yeah, today I ran with two of my friends who are both beasts, and we easily defeated other teams of all 50s.

Keep power weapons out of enemy hands. Never underestimate an AR wielding opponent up close. Control vehicles. Watch out for Mauler melee combos. Play aggressively, but don't put yourself in the open. Brute shots are common and beat common weapons pretty easy.

May seem like beginner tips to you, but these helped in Halo 3 for me. Also, don't expect to live as long as you do in Reach. Halo 3 has generally more competetive players and a faster and deadlier weapon sandbox.

Good luck.

I rarel play Reach, if at all. I'm close to my 50 (48 at the moment), I just don't want to waste time losing games I don't have to.
