Anyone else majorly pissed about this last time? (I doubt it as most people who DL'd and played it say they would never do such a thing and never have)

Anyways, I'm hoping the security behind the manufacturing(even developing) of the game is much higher for Halo 3.

It's bad enough to think of leaked screenshots and video's, but for the ENTIRE playable game itself?! Regardless of what language it was in, that was so horrible of someone(s) to do. It had the potential to ruin sales, ruin the impact of the game(which it did to people who didnt want to know about the story and someone opens their mouth without warning) and so much more.

Please Bungie, for the sake of all honest gamers out there who care about the first impact of playing a brand new game that no one else had before-hand, keep the security-levels up!

I'm pretty sure they tried that with Halo 2, it's not as if they go running through the streets throwing beta discs at people....

Besides, H2 was an incredible seller, and the jackass who leaked the beta left his ID tags and whatnot on it, and he got so very, incredibly, BUSTED.

I wonder if Halo 3 will be such an awesome game that it will be immune to piracy. Probably not.

Bungie should hire Chuck Norris as a security guard.

Why not the chief himself?

You dont hire Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris hires you. *Goddamn Chuck jokes are so addicting*

I'm sure Bungie will do everything possible for the security of the game. And even if it does leak a little the final product wont be affected THAT much.

Master Chief is #3 in the rankings of awesomeness and toughness. #1 is Chuck Norris followed by a close #2 Jack Bauer. Chief comes in a respectable #3 (well above #4, Mr. T).

I think that bungie tried as hard as they can protecting halo 2 as they will do with halo 3. But hackers are constantly finding new ways to get around the walls and its going to be hard to prevent it from happening again.

Well the biggest problem is within their own ranks. That's how things get out more or less... on employee leaks (whether intentional or not) and things escalate.

The people inside Bungie cant be blamed, inless the person who cleans the windows stole it. The bigest problem in pirated games are from where the Game IE the Disc its self is produced. Now of days almost all production is out sourced to countries that have a much smaller anti piracy laws.

Yeah, I take back what I said... I think you're right. I just recall the videos originating from the Motherland... a place which does not produce Mircosoft products.

Maybe they should put in a virus in the game just in case someone tries to pirate it. like they have to dl a certain patch every day otherwise the game deletes itself?
