"At the end of this day one shall stand, one shall fall"

So, Death or Bungie?

What if we had the ability to add people to a contact list? Heres a problem with Bnet. Lets say you want to have a conversation with another member, you either have to go to his page, or find one of his post to message him. If there was a contact list where you can add people (they would have to accept) to message. It would make messaging easier. Just a suggestion, tell me your opinion.

Also, there is no "create message" feature on your messages page, that would be nice. There is only reply.

...Private groups?

No but seriously, a friends list for Bungie.net (not the Xbox FL) would be a welcomed addition. Get on it Achronos. *cracks whip*

This is not a friends list. It is simply a list that you can use for messaging. I do not have facebook, I hope im not trying to be like that.

Well a friends list would be a great feature for Bungie.net, not sure how it would work though, there is a lot of work involved and mechanics...

By the way, dude do not play with fire.

I wouldn't want Facebook either, because I don't like Facebook. I'm thinking of a system where you can add members that have registered to Bungie.net to a list. Open the list, send a message. It seems like it would save so much time.

Edit : Aren't you talking about a friends list? Who would you want to have conversations with besides friends and acquaintances?

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

Didn't you already make a thread about this? Well in any case, it's been discussed a bunch of times already. The outcome is a mix between users liking it and users saying "we're not Facebook". IMO it would be a good feature, but I don't think that it will be implemented.

No because you arnt adding people that you really "know" i dont think people here know people in real life that go on Bnet.

I wasn't talking about adding like that. I was talking more about b.net users that you like.

Maybe it's to prevent mass spamming?

You mean a contacts page? I guess it would be okay to add people, but not as a friends list; rather just a personal list of people like an "Add to your favorites list".

A friends list would be great here, especially if integrated with other services.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

Let me see if I understand. You wish to create a sort of group messaging system, where multiple people can read and reply to each other within a single string of messages?

I just saw a green monkey nut shot a small tan lizard(?) in a gunny sack.

A friends list, maybe.

If it's for a messaging list, no. There's no point. Either find their profile in the mains and message them from there, or reply to a message they've already sent you.

I really hope I don't come across as rude, but I see no real point of this feature. All it would do is speed up the messaging process by a tiny fraction and, if my perception of the community is similar to other users, the amount of "Favorited" users would be so large that the list would be so big that another list would be needed. :')

Perhaps not a friends list, but definitely an easier feature to PM your friends would be perfect for me, such as a contact graph system.
