Do you mean that Bungie Employees shouldn't be able to read any member's Pm's?

  • 02.10.2012 6:06 PM PDT

Obviously they can, or atleast the webteam.

  • 02.10.2012 6:08 PM PDT

There are three people I serve. God, Chuck norris, and Evilcam.

Yes but they do not allways relpy, you see they get almost 100 PM's everyday so that probably pisses them off a bit.

No, not like that.

I mean if me and you were to converse in PM's, should Achronos be able to read them.

I say no, they shouldn't. My emails aren't (well at least shouldn't) read by my ISP, why should Bungie?

It's not the content, but rather the ramifications of that power.

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

Yes. Each month they pick out the most scandalous one and pin it on their "People who we can blackmail to let us have our way with their mom" wall.

In theory yes, but they won't unless they have a vital need to do so. At least, that is what I have been told.

How is it wrong? If you have reason to break the rules then it's completely justified for them to read your messages. It's not like the Webteam just casually, when they're bored, likes to read your messages; it's unlikely that they care.

Like what? They only gave themselves that power to stop people from abusing their site.

Whoo.

Of course, they store your messages on THEIR server, Facebook can also read your status updates and DropBox can also look at your files and Xbox Live can also read your messages, Hotmail can also read through your emails and Google can look through your search history.

This doesn't mean they do it on a whim every once and a while, but they're fully in their power to do so, usually only really utilizing said power though for people who break the rules.

You know, death threats, "Oh I didn't call Foman a -blam!- when appealing my ban", etc.

I think only Superusers can. Not sure though. I would love to break into Achronos's office one time. All I want to do is take a look at the screen and see the forums as he see's them. I know it looks much different.

I'm pretty sure it just has to do with the contents of your message. If the employee can answer it, wants to answer it and has the time to answer it, I'm sure they will. But I believe they read most, if not all, of their messages, even when they don't reply to them.
