I'm in love with Jesus and proud of it!

I give up. I can't play with friends, join parties or host customs.

I've changed my IP countless times.
I've port-forwarded AND port-triggered my router... TWICE.
I've tried wired and wireless connections.

No matter what, my NAT is still CLOSED and my bandwidth WARNING!

I use a ZyXel 660HW... one of the worst according to many customer reviews.

What would be a good RELIABLE router that is Windows Live compatible?

To make this forum relevant, yes, this is to play Reach.

would a different router (preferably one that's Windows Live compatible) change any of the above numbers?

Relax. I'd rather not piss this thing off.

No, you would need to upgrade your internet for those numbers to shoot up, but ive been using a Netgear Wireless N router, works very well.

We're using Embarq. Not the highest speed/quality package either. It's a miracle I can even play MM.

But even with these crap numbers, can somehow get an open NAT (which I used to back when I had Windows XP) with a better router?
