Hello this is the choice between two survival modes. All you have to do is read better decied which one is better state why and your golden.
our first competor.
The General Idea
My idea is that it'd be a seperate entry from Campaign and Multiplayer in the main menu, and would be set up in a similar manner to how the Co-Op Campaign works in Halo 2. Support for 1-4 players over Xbox live, System Link, and possibly split screen would be included.
You would then configure numerous options, like in multiplayer, such as location, enemies, weapons, to name but a few.
It would place you and your buddies in a level of your choosing, enemies would then constantly either spawn out of sight, or spawn in locations where the players cannot access, and you start shootin' 'em, and rack up those kills.
Mechanics
Enemy Spawns - Enemies would spawn in locations out of reach of the player(s), or out of sight of the player(s). The idea of enemies being dropped off in drop ships is also a possibility.
Weapons and Ammo - Weapons and ammo would respawn at certain locations that somewhat make sense, such as at crashed dropships/lifeboats, or where dead marines and weapon caches are located. The multiplier would be configured as part of the options. The weapons and ammo that spawn at caches could also be customised.
Respawns - The respawn time could be fixed, or work by similar means to co-op where a player respawns when the coast is clear
Powerups - Powerups would be hidden out of the way like in Campaign, and respawn at a certain rate. The spawn multiplier would be configured as part of the options.
Levels
Levels would be based on locations from all 3 games, typically the more intense ones, or ones that offer a large range of gameplay options. Some suggestions are as follows:
(H:CE) Halo: Level Start
(H:CE) Halo: 1st Lifeboat Section
(H:CE) Halo: Hills Lifeboat Section
(H:CE) Halo: Clifftop Lifeboat Section
(H:CE) Halo: Rockslide Lifeboat Section
(H:CE) T&R: Below the Grav-Lift
(H:CE) T&R: Grav Lift Hanger
(H:CE) T&R: Bottom Floor, Hanger Bay
(H:CE) T&R: Control Room
(H:CE) T&R: Brig
(H:CE) Silent Cartographer: Beach Landing Section
(H:CE) AotCR: Control Room Battle
(H:CE) 343GS: First Swamp
(H:CE) 343GS: Final Swamp
(H2) Cairo: Hanger Bay
(H2) New Mombosa: Earth City
(H2) Delta Halo: Final Temple
(H2) High Charity: Outdoor Sections
(H2) High Charity: Mausoleum
(H3) - Various sections that feature some of the most intense combat or plenty of options
Additionally, certain multiplayer levels might be suitable for such a mode, typically those that are large enough and feature a base. It is also possible that any base could also be redesigned to be larger.
Customisation
Whilst the nature of Halo combat is usually pretty variable, there would be a large degree of customisation in how Survival Mode is set up, to cater the game to how you and your buddies want to play. The options you can configure would be similar to multiplayer:

Out second Person.
Their were two modes Marines or ODSTs, (this idea was made for a map like relic but bigger like it would take you 3 minutes to walk across the map).
the Game itself is One Hour it can go up to two if in costom games. this gamtype goes up to 8 guys on human team.
The Marines: They crash landind a Pelican and each players postion gives them a chance to survive the landing. First and for most the piolts alway die so their NPCs.
the guys in the seat next to the piolt have a good chance of dieing, but have a pretty good chance of breaking bones(yes you can crawl and drag yourslef to fight even if you had no legs or one arm, you just cant move fast or fire guns accerlety)(Sp)
everyone else on the pelican has a good chance of living .
The pelican itself is well equipped it has a small armory (5 brs two ARMs)(ARs modified) (and enough ammo to last 30 minutes) . It also has stretchers and some bandages(yes you can blead to death).
Now if your an unlucky one you have an easy job. otherwise your going to have to defend their wounded if they took them to your base(where ever it may be).
heres where the fun is, you kill thousands of those little Covenant bastards. Theirs 60 waves, each wave adds 25 grunts and 10 jackels to it and 5 elites of each knid as it get harder and eventually burtes(so at wave 20 you get more than two kinds of elites, and each wave adds 5 elites to the majors and minors)
now even i am not a mean savage so you get ammo drops at the, 10 minute marker, 40 minute marker and the 59th minute maker.
The ODSTs: Thsi is for advanced players olny(or you will die) the ODSTs all have a little chance of surviving even if you land safely. Alright lets say you land safely, but you land in the coveant controlled base you will hopefully be experined enough to fight your way out(but you wont). best case senerio is when if you were to land in with 3 other guys near a good fortress. Worst case senerio is you land by yourseld in a coveant patrols path you legs are broken your ammo is in jumbles you guns is jammed and you cant reach your pistol.
or
if you survive with 3 other guys and the radio guy is down(yes their is a radio guy ODSTs and marines olny have proxemity talk) the coveys are closing in fast...
and on that note you have to have or find the radio to call for evac then the timer starts, however, the covenant are always clsoing in even if the time hasnt started and you dont get ammo supply inless the times starts.
Choose which one thank you.
