Me and 2 friends are playing Halo and our controllers have stopped vibrating, any idea why this is happening?

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

I think it happens at points when your controller is low on battery charge. I could be wrong though.
