I'd rather be able to kill and be killed by my teammates than to be able to get trapped into a corner and not be able to do anything about it. That's the problem with shooters that don't have friendly fire.

Mirrored damage is far superior to friendly fire. Why are we still allowing dicks to be dicks?

Because being a dick is fun, and if I throw a grenade in and some idiot comes running in and steps on it, I shouldn't be the one who gets killed.

If friendly fire was off, then their would be boosting(not kill or credits, actual jump boosting) and that would give teams unfair advantages.

Also, your crying to the wrong choir, Bungie just sits and laughs at us now, 343i has taken over.

I miss that days when Bungie would fix stuff and then laugh at us.

Jump boosting?

I don't see how anyone could boost because of friendly fire being off. Especially with mirrored damage.

Mirrored damage would do nothing but increase the amount of teamkilling, because generally they want to lower the teams score, and with mirrored, one rocket or a grenade wouldn't kill them.

the sniper and shotgun

Firstly, lol shotty snipes..

Secondly, friendly fire is and has always been an element that sets Halo apart. It requires you to be careful around teammates, and adds a certain amount of caution while playing.

Now, I agree with this completely, and it was always usually the fun random element in Halo, but in Reach, it just should not be around.

The community has shot straight down the tubes, and abuses friendly fire more than I have ever seen in any halo. It's sickening.

And then of course, when one of those accidental, "fun" betrayals happens, the stuck up child on the receiving end gets the boot option, and of course, takes it.

Reach was made for casuals. If it was made for babies, then it should play for babies, put the damn training wheels on when it comes to betrayals.

People who boot dont check to see if you're carrying the team or not, they don't even care to think if it was an accident or not. They just jump on that x button like its a new dildo. 343 should give us 3 strikes per game.

3 strikes per game? excuse me, but I don't like having to wait for a guy to betray me after the 4th time I've gotten a power weapon just so i can boot someone who is being a -blam- wit

Ooh, I love those people, the ones who decide to throw everything and the kitchen sink at you, as if an M16 does anything to a T-90. Oh, MLG player with noobtube instead? Congrats! You blew off one of my ablative plates!

Gun, meet Bad Guy.
Bad Guy, this is Gun.

Ahem, firefight.

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

A thought just occured to me. If friendly fire was turned off, people could stick teammates with plasma grenades and have them run into a group of enemies, blow them up abd survive

As annoying as friendly fire can be, would you want this happening to you?

Why would you want him to betray you in the first place? If you are "waiting" for someone to betray you, you're likely asking for it. Anyway, most betrayals are accidental, so 3 strikes is fair..

Ok, lets say a player has betrayed you, you will get a little annoyed, if they do it a second time, then you will be RATHER annoyed because you can tell they are trying, then you get the annoying -blam!- who knows that they have 3 strikes and will sit in your line of fire, and shoot at you, waiting for you to betray them, 3 strikes is too many when you get these losers

Your presence here is quite unneeded. Begone you!!!

Been in EVERY Halo and not just Halo. Try harder

Dear OP,

I love you. I've wanted to voice this for ages but this circle jerk of a community doesn't accept criticism, and Bungie doesn't even look twice at third party critique.
