I personally think it's going to be good for a lot of people, but bad for people like me. For I am someone who likes creative innovations, as well as clever design being built around a solid core, something Halo has always done, but since Reach contained so much outer elements people seem to be forgetting that the core still is there.
343i is pretty much self-entitled to bring Halo back to its roots, and trying to flush out a character that barely had any lets say... vocal personality?
I think for a game that ended off of Halo 3 that showed a little human side of Master Chief is going into the whole aspect of rushed emotion before we can get a chance to develop some sort of relationship with him. That could just be my imagination, but honestly I don't see 343i executing what they in terms of Master Chief well.
Now I'm very interested in where the level design is going, considering it's supposed to be the most foreign of the Halo's just because of the mass amount of forerunner structures appearing in the concept art, as well as the trailers.
Overall I think it's ambitious, but going to execute a lot of stuff in a rubbish manner.
343i Employees / Bungie Employees
You got some employees working at 343i, but not too many.
You got Frank O'Connor, Chad Armstrong, and Donnie Taylor.
The most important aspect is you got a lot of FASA studios developers who created the very well made multiplayer experience for Shadowrun.
