I don't think it's necessary.

Nor do I.
You can already tell if a thread is worth much by post count.

Can't tell whether to laugh... or cry...

Whisper Game Studios - shhhh, it's a public secret.
Webcam MVP
Sarsion.net
Bnet PM Policy

[*Please note that anything in my posts is likely to be filled with sarcasm, and should be taken with a pinch of salt. I tend to help people, usually*]

I think it would be interesting even just so we could see the sort of topics people are actually interested in.

I think quality would improve as well if we all saw exactly how many people were looking at the dumb things we say on a regular basis.

[Oops, didn't really catch the "er" part]

A online user/viewer counter for each forum would be useful, to know if it's a good time to roam the forum or not; but it might support inactivity on the forums. I think it might be worth a try, at least.

I actually think it would be quite interesting to have that feature here.

Cortana 5 is a carbon-based lifeform that frequently visits these forums, currently residing in the United States. Practically every male on the site responds to her posts.

The Joyeuse IP Formula

I don't care about how many people have seen my thread. I only care about what they've got to say, should they have something to say.

If you really care about your view count, sure. Whatever gets your cheeks blushing. As long as I get an [off] option for it, go ahead.

Yeah, that would be cool

Ditto.

Don't want to sound harsh but if you read Op then you would have seen that he said 'How many members are viewing the forum' not 'How many members have viewed your thread'.

I'd rather not to be honest. I like the fact that BNet is different to all the other forums I've ever visited, even if it is dated.
