Helping out the 7th column community with reasonable posts since '07.

What worked for me more than port forwarding, or port triggering was opening up a specific IP to my router through allowing it to go through the DMZ. The IP happened to be my Xbox 360's IP address which I created simply by adding a +10 to the end of the sequence of numbers.

red flames.....blue flames, assault rifle's and star's. which is better what has been earned or what has been given?

wether is is about life's desicions or about a simple game it's what makes us who we really are

well a simpler thing for people that actually don't know how to use computers that well is, if it's just because of your NAT simply go to your network setting and test your xbox live connection, that should hopefully open your nat, if not go through other "simple" troubleshooting things like turning of you modem/router for 30 second and restarting it.

then move on to more complicated stuff if you can. if even the other guys link does not help you go and see someone that knows that field at a computer store or....but a diff router/modem. :)
