I Retired Gears of War 2, Sold it to buy Halo 3. And I have not had this much fun playing Video Games in a long time :)
Now that Halo Reach is out. My life has never been better.

I am currently working on another post about the grenades, and this would be my research for it. I would like your thoughts about the grenades in Halo: Reach. What do you like about them, what don't you like about them, and what would you do to change them.

They're mini-nukes. Decrease the explosive radius, decrease the damage. Maybe even remove them.

Grenade damage is fine. Perhaps a decrease in the damage radius, but I wouldn't mind if they stayed the same.

The -blam!- fuse time is retarded. Frags seem to blow up the instant they bounce off something. Maybe the blast radius is too big aswell..

I can agree with this under the MLG NS movement traits, but would you really say that for default Reach?

I detest grenades. Of grenades were a person, I would find out where he lives and pummel him in the face until he suffered severe bran damage

Yes, but what if he has oatmeal or cornflakes? Will you continue to pummel him in the face until all his breakfast options are no longer viable?

They're fine, but bumping up speed and damage resistance to 110% gives them a small enough nerf to make them feel like they need to be skilfully placed.

There's two ways to fix the problems with the grenades. One way is to decrease the damage radius and/or damage. The other way is to make it so we can jump higher and/or move faster.

Incendiary nades are the answer. They need a large area of effect and one hit kills tank.

Frags are fine (damage/radius), i would like a longer fuse time though. Plasmas need be brighter to aid in avoidance. Firebombs from H3 should be brought back.
