Every single pummel I have is unboosted.
I play GGL. (Grifball)
I hit inheritor 14/1/12. 16 months after release. I have a life fellas.
Every single killionaire I have is unboosted. 22 from grifball, 4 from LD.

If somebody says Evade is up, there pretty messed up.
Or is it?

Happiness is a warm gun

Evade is pretty much a powerweapon, the way MLG handles it is the best IMO, having one placed in the middle of the map for teams to fight over control

The Song Of Nephilim

Xenoblade <3

It is not overpowered. Maybe with a sword, or shotgun it is. I see so many evaders blow themselves up with rockets.

Opinions are like butholes. Everyone's got one, nobody wants to hear about it.

I use it whenever it's available and I don't see how it's OP. I'ts very useful for evading grenades.

Over short distances evade is faster than sprint. Armor lock forces the user to stand in place, but evade allows one to move away from the danger. It is the best AA for having this blend of offensive and defensive capabilities.

Better question is, what downsides does Evade have?

It does everything sprint does, but better.
Fast movement in any direction, and it throws lock-on weapons off too.

I seriously needed to update my signature. I'll never forget it, though.

Overpowered. Basically, why is Evade so good compared to everything else.

I'm in love with Jesus and proud of it!

It's OP when you start with Plasma Grenades.

-run up
-stick at point blank
-evade away
-repeat

Personally, I think it could do with some sort of cool down in-between rolls. That or a shorter roll distance for when Spartans use it. Seems the same distance as an Elite roll.

It has to have some sort of apparent downside me thinks to balance out the oh so good combat maneuverability it allows.

At least something to keep it useful for combat, but less so for generally moving around the map like Sprint.

I am your sword... I am your Shield...

It is really good for avoiding power weapons and splatters. Banshee bombs and wraith mortars are rendered useless against a very good evader. Although I do not think it is over-powered because you take damage if you roll into things. Another downside is that you cant cancel mid-roll, and you cannot attack during or right after the roll. I use it on invasion and btb, but i think it is not that effective in other game-types.

AL is a OP way of getting away from nades and splatters. Evade is not.

Evade is the best way to troll banshees and wraiths. AL is good if you are stuck so you can "return to sender" but lets your opponents set up for the finishing move.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

In my opinion, it's only overpowered when you use it with a close quarters power weapon.
