fake?
another fake?
Bungie article on its fakeness

I'm not a totally gullible person, but when I see stuff like that and read that it's not real, I don't automatically think it's fake either. Depending on how you look at it, you really could go either way. When Game Informer posted a Halo3 article, Bungie was quick to shoot it down. Well, so far the article appears to be accurate. So it would seem that Bungie would prefer to deny everything next-project related simply to help keep things under wraps.

What do you think? Is it fake? If it truly is, what would a person need to do to re-create such a fake? Anyone out there up for the challenge of attempting to re-create something like that to better prove it could easily be a fake?

"You must face the truth squarely and without flinching from duty. Our enemies are mortal no longer. Mercy for such as they is a chimera, self-deception is its only ally. Dedicate this weapon, given unto your hand at the behest of the Emperor, to their destruction. Regard its function as your only duty: you live only to bring cleansing fire."

as i have said before, in previouse halo games, the menu screen always has a picture in teh background that the camera kinda moves around, in both shots of the TV the picture of the artifact in the background has not moved, meaning the whole screen is static. and the overlapping picture is just a bright version of the HALO 2 loading screen

Good point. I forgot about how the other menus are in comparison to this one. I'm hoping this thread won't get locked. It's a simple discussion...right?

Posting the pics is a violation of the rules however...

Discussing it is still considered "rumormongering" from my understanding.
