All those who believe in psychokinesis, raise my hand.

There should be a forum for all the 'pros' so that we don't have to mix our thoughts and get aggravated about playing this game...what is cheating, what is not, who prawns who, etc, etc, etc. It will separate the wheat from the chaff. And will make everything neat and tidy for the forums when halo 3 comes out.

that would amount to elitism on this site. There are other websites that actively promote this concept. bnet doesn't need it. I vote no

You do realize that their are hundreds of thousands of noobs that think they're pros, and vice versa right? You do know that everyone would go to the "pro boards" and say how "1337" they are, even though almost all of them would imply how "fake" they are...

Sorry, that's a no go for me. Besides, true skill in this game has been ruined by cheating, unbalance gameplay, modders, standbyers, people randomly committing suicide, team killers, etc... It lost most/ all credibility a long time ago. Play CS:S if you want skillful play

=D

I think this is an excellent idea, just so I won't have to socialize with certain cretins on this board.

this is the exact reson there should be one....people can voice there opinions, not worrying about having feedback from non-like minded individuals

do you think bungie can even possibly filter out every single member that isn't "pro"? It's impossible, unless... you know... no one can get in, but then pro's can't get in either... the "noobs" would enter and spam, brag, or "pretend to be pro" and thus the forum would erupt into flaming, like most bungie forums, lol.

I'm just saying it'd probably go down hill very quickly if it were ever launched. IMO

I regret to inform you that this thread is a waste of space and a waste of a person's time to read. In due time, this thread could be locked by an admin as it has no real significance towards Halo 3 as we are still a long ways away from it coming out. Additionally, your suggestion will not change what you think it will because many of the people you want to be rid of, think they belong in that catagory that you think they do not belong in.

DUH! All bungie would have to do is require for the profile to have their GT's linked and anyone under a level 40 would not be able to join. I say it's genius.

That would not be fair to others as some people who are not the kind of people you are all hating against can not achieve a level of or around 40.

you do realize that most high levels are cheaters correct? over 90% of the so called "pro boards" would be cheaters.

Pro1: "So, how'd you get your 50?"
Pro2: "Well, I took out my automatic sniper rifle and jumped a couple thousand feet into the air, right. So I push the fire trigger, and BOOM HEADSHOT. 7 headshots in one push of the trigger! Damn, you should've seen those n00bs fall on their faces. They were getting so pissed!
Pro1: "OMG! I did the same things!
Pro1 and 2: "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!"

Besides, the numbers don't mean anything... It's been about a year since I've played an online matchmaking match... I think I'm still a 25, unless they've reset the stats awhile ago. I had a better win to lose ratio then most people higher then me... I sorta quit when, you know, cheaters kept... well... cheating...

Besides, without a KDR, how the hell can you tell if the actual PERSON is good, rather then just his team... I've seen really crappy players ride the backs of others, and some of them are higher levels then me... now... yah... that shows skill... I wish I was uber like the level 50's... I just need a mod chip... lol...

I don't think this is about game skills... it's all about attitude. You can find jerks everywhere.

Umm...thats the point! If you care what your rank should be, then you should be with others who are also concerned about it. Whether or not you achieved it in a reasonable manner or not makes no difference to me. I would be able to tell if you had no idea of what you were talking about if you cheated to get your rank. You would basically be shunned by the community that you cheated so hard to get in to. So ya it should be controlled by rank..cheating or not!
