Yea.. but i think that is know to almost everyone who actually plays halo and halo 2. Just like how when you kill the prophet of regret red blood comes out that oddly enough looks like human blood. And there is one part in the book (i can't remember what part) a covenant says "It's weird how we did not even try to accept the humans into our army, instead we just are exterminating them" HINT HINT because they do not want them to find out about there secret. Well thats what i think anyway.

Wasn't that in that booklet in the Halo 2 case, translations of the universe or something...

OK Halo2Rules2, first of all, the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, not hour. Your interpretation of Einstein's relativity (and math involved therein) is so off, that I'm not even going to try and start explaining it to you. I'm gonna have to tell you to be quiet and quit acting like you are an intelligent scientist. Not to be mean, but don't act like you know something when you don't, you just end up looking stupid to the people who really do know it. You are probably a seventh grader who is very into science fiction and nothing more. The rest of you are probably right about the forerunners being human though....

All will be answered in the 'forerunners' game that is supposed to come out.

Although i don't think the MC was mistaken at all - because only humans are able to activate the rings and no other. I wouldn't like it if the humans were forerunners however (too predicable), although they obviously somehow knew that humans could be trusted with the halos. And would not activate them unless they had to.

Im guessing the forerunners were probably humanoids that could actualy use 100% of their brain as opposed to the 10% humans confined to so they were able to create artificial ring worlds (for whatever purpose - im guessing to contain the flood in a frozen foodless enviroment and to avoid them from spreading).

well thats my theory anyway...lol

ok...her goes

* State your point after making people read that long quote which we all remember.

* He gets mistaken for a forerunner, big deal, hes in a suit, how can 343 tell what he looks like and actually say hes a forerunner when we know hes human. maybe the forerunners had suits (they had stronger suits, remember 343 said so)...

* There is much better proof out there, but this one keeps coming up. We've all been alerted that 343 mistoke MC as forerunner

ya that suit part is true because the shielding generators on elites armor are direct adaptations of forerunner technology whos bodies were most likely humanoid, because of this the coven. armor had to be rebuilt in order to fit the elite body. The humans MJOLNIR however needed no such rebuilding meaning that MC in his armor must have had a striking resembelance to the forerunners.

ummmmm.....dude? that is no where found in the books. the Covenant have hated the humans for as long as they have heard of them and they wanted to annihiliate all of them because they thought they (the Covenant) were a superior being

What I'm trying to say is they could have done it in the year 2255 and none would know because they were battling flood and died. Also if you travel the speed of light time does pass, just very very slowly. Think about it, 186,000 miles per HOUR. That means if the halo is 4,464,000 miles away it would only take a day to get to. so time obviously has to pass.[quote]

Dude, i know that people have already posted this, but i am going to say it anyway. It is 186,000 per SECOND!!! If it was 186,000 miles per hour, that would be so freaking slow. Please go and do some research before you make a fool of yourself and before you do any more posting with this

This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

I lack patience of ignorance on this subject. Since halo : Ce has came out people have speculated humans are the forerunners how ever the evidence they present in faulty in every way and bungie has already told us something that should have made it a fact were not forerunners. I guess I got my work cut out for me.

"HSP: The Forerunner inhabit another galaxy.

JS: Well they don't inhabit ours - which is to say something with the power and reach of the Covenant would certainly have found them by now if they did."

This is a quote from an interview with Joseph staten ( JS) who is the cinimatics director for halo 2. There that should stop all you from waisting your time correct? Strangely no matter how many times this is brought up the ignorant spread there ignorance further. I would appreciate it if you spread the word that were not forerunners.

If a quote from a head bungie staff member ain't enough nothing will convince you but I might as well try.

1. When I call my friend mike and later speak about an old friend of mine named andrew im not talking about mike im talkign about andrew. Common sense right? Samething goes for reclaimer and forerunner.

2. Some people seem to have a lack of understand on the word "you". When one is speaking about one person , place , or thing and use a noun to make it clear , you do not change the subject about another person place or thing with out first using a noun. So in a case like this the speaker is talkign about the same thign all the way threw:

"The installation was specifically built to study and contain the Flood. Their survival as a race was dependent upon it. I am grateful to see that some of them survived to reproduce."

So in other words he's saying the flood needed to be contained to survive as if let un controled they would consume everything and then die off.

Why does Guilty care fi they survived?

"You can see how the body's been transformed by the genetic restructuring of the Flood infection. The small creatures carry spores that cause a host to mutate. The mutated host then produces spores that can pass the Flood to others. It is insidious and elegant .As long as any hosts remain, the Flood is virulent. "

Seems Guilty spark is intrigued by them.

" course, samples were kept here after the last catastrophic outbreak...for study. It seems... that decision may have been an error. "

I wonder who made that decision?

3. "this galaxy will be quite devoid of life, or at least any life with sufficient biomass to sustain the flood. (pause) But you already knew that. I mean, how couldn't you?"

"Last time, you asked me, if it was my choice, would I do it? Having considerable time to ponder your query, my answer has not changed."

" you were with me each step of the way, as we managed this crisis."

The important word is "You" . The Word " You" is not purial unless a word before or after tells us it is. One such case would be " You guys" or " You jerks". In other words you is not purial unless an adjective before or after is purial. It's quite obvious if guilty spark wan't speaking directly to master chief he wouldn't expect him to remember what halo did or what they did in the past. So guilty mistook master chief for some one else from before halo? I believe he mistook MC for Noah. Wait didn't halo kill all life? No read Guilty sparks quote again.

"this galaxy will be quite devoid of life, or at least any life with sufficient biomass to sustain the flood."

As we halo would not kill thinks like chipmunks but would kill larger creatures such as grunts or brutes. Possibly even dogs. How ever one important thing to note is cyborgs. Cyborgs would have little biomass and thus could take the postion as noah. Evidence guilty spark believed master chief would survive halo?

"This installation's research facilities are most impressive! Perhaps we'll have time to see them later. "

This is said on the walk towards killing all sufficent biomass creatures . So if guilty knew it would kill all with sufficent biomass he must of mistaken master chief for a cyborg (not unlike some bungie fans). Case in point Recon number 54. A "Battleroid" which is created from recycled dead bodies from fallen soldiers and then given cyborgian upgrades as well as genetic enhancements. Recon number 54 was from marathon ( a previous bungie game) and wore mjonir (same name as amster chiefs armour) armour. Recon number 54 seems to blindly follow durandal. He does everything that durandal asks of him. No matter how dangerous. During marathon durandal a rampant AI claims the universe is closed off and destined to collpase upon it's self. He also claims escaping the collapse would make him god (who created the flood. In the bible noah is a man that has faith in god and does what ever god asks of him. Noah is the last man that does not sin and as such is warned of the comming flood. It seems that halo better repersents a physical flood and the flood repersent sins. Thus Noah cannot sin thus cannot become a flood form. So Noah must logically either be a extremely small weak creature or a cyborg or battleroid. So guilty spark thought master chief to be noah (recon number 54?) the last being that cannot sin (become a flood form) and cannot die by halo.

I could go further into the halo-maraverse about how the symbols on the orginal screens of the first halo match that of doors of a race from marathon that created a creature called fungus zobmie. That in the concept art looks identical to the flood. I could then pin point every thing were told about the flood and show how it matches the fugnus and the way they ifnect completely. Then I could explain this is why the flood did not die because flood do not need to consume off others. They can consume metal (creating rust which is found all over qurantine zone) or nutrients from dirt . Also I could talk about fungus growing all over the walls of high charity after the flood take over. Lastly I would talk about how the s'pht came into conduct with a mutant cyborg pfhor that matches what gravemind is partially. Showing us it's possible the s'pht created the flood and had the ability to create gravemind. The brain of a mutant cyborg , body of a fungus zombie and the entity of an AI ( possibly tycho or a clone). I could then talk about gods and demons in the halo-maraverse and explain how AI's take the place of them being super natural. How ever your all going to ignore the first few bits of fact and then ignore the rest of my thread any way.

Game wise, only two people have actually been called Reclaimers. Master Chief and Miranda Keyes. I doubt seriously Humans are the Forerunners. Though I do beleive Humans are the other species 343 mentions in Halo CE.

Read my post above (on page 2). It debugs so called "evidence" that forerunners are humans showing that guiltys choice fo gramamr tells us it's a fact were not forerunners. Also I give a quote from a bungie employee from an interview to show we are in fact NOT the forerunners so spread the word to stop people from waisting there time.

I believe him, I mean, I don't know if that is good proof, this is the "proof" from what he wrote:

343 GUILTY SPARK: (pauses) More or less. Technically, this installation's pulse has a maximum effective radius of twenty-five thousand light years. But, once the others follow suit, this galaxy will be quite devoid of life, or at least any life with sufficient biomass to sustain the flood. (pause) But you already knew that. I mean, how couldn't you?

I don't know if it's good proof, but if you understand what 343 is saying, is that that installation has a radius of 25,000 light years, but once the "others follow suit, this galaxy will be quite devoid of life", meaning about the other rings. Good proof there, because no one knew there where other rings.

----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

Please tell me your both joking , Guilty spark tells us there are seven rings in halo 2. Second who says it's the ark? Looks and sounds a bit like a scarab gun and it's activating and the trailer is 1/3rd or it was 2/3rds into the game. So if the ark is activating then it's game over they all die in a few moments. Second there was a forerunners crystal shard on reach and one on coral. Does that mean creatures that lived there were forerunners. I guess since the forerunner ship belongs to the forerunners and was found on a planet besides earth I guess that means another creature is a forerunner. Oh and the star map to. Maybe were all forerunners? Seriously there is no evidence that humans are the forerunners but yet facts there not. Obviously since Noah (Recon number 54) knew the forerunners and guilty spark .We knew the forerunners (sp'ht). In marathon humanity and s'pht team up against the pfhor. So obviously if we are those trusted with the responsiblity of containing sins (the flood)
they obviously leave the artifact that would activate the devices that contain the sins with us. It's like if your parents give you the responsibilty of comming home during lunch hour and walking your dog. Do they put the key in your hands or that of a stranger? Again can we ignore common sense a little less?

and to Dr Mayhem 7... you cant be called a reclaimer if you already havent claimed once...

Attually it is quite possible. All one needs to have done in order to be called a reclaimer is have the creator program you in as a reclaimer saying that only you can claim what it is your are being assigned the roll of reclaimer for.

It has the word "Halo" in its title. That means an automatic campaign playthrough for me.

Lemme say this... The books are worthless, and anything read in them that is EXACTLY corroborated (backed up) by the game is false...

Light travels at 186,282 Miles per second. Slipspace is not regular space, it is heavily warped, I assume, so that ships may travel much faster than the speed of Light, thus it takes days to get to the outer colonies...

The Humans haven't had contact with any other sentient life, or the flood, up until the events on Alpha Halo.

Bungie has officially stated that there is NO connection between the Haloverse, and the Marathon Universe.

More ranting to come, as other Idiots post in this forum...

I only read half of the first page after seeing the pointless and idiotic comments some people were making. But to just put it out there, people say that Bungie won't allow humans to be forerunners because Bungie loves their twists, and humans being forerunners is too obvious for Bungie. I wonder if anyone considered that it would be too obvious for Bungie to put in a twist regarding humans and forerunners, so Bungie throws us a curveball by just sticking to the obvious. Its been too long for them to not just go with the obvious in one of these respects, so why not this one? Sorry if anyone posted this before me.

Edit:

BTW, the structure isn't the Ark. The whole Earth is.
