~THIS MAY LOOK LONG BUT IF YOU READ YOU MAY ACTUALLY LEARN SOMETHING~
Guys, if you know about fast traveling, near the speed of light, than you would know that time crawls when going that fast. For example, say i drove a ship 186,000 miles per hour(speed of light) to the nearest halo, on earth many years would have past. But in the ship at most it would've taken a week. I would have aged a week and everything. Soooooo, think about it, do you know everything that happened exactly 250 years ago. No. Neither would the humans in the year 2555 (whatever year it is). The book says they have had space travel for centuries. So i'm sure some type of human life went to a few galaxies, made contact with the flood, built the halo's, and are on their way back.(They could have been humans from the year 2554 as well.) Remember, it only feels like a few weeks for say 5 years. So they've probably been in space for a few years in their time. On earth centuries have past. Einstein proved this theory, the one about time dragging.
And the part about 343 mistaking MC as a forerunner, well, I'm sure when he said the suits were better he meant that they had the newest technology of suits. 343 only saw MC in his halo suit, not his halo 2 suit, so it could have easily been a ship with some spartans on it. Basically, unless Bungie makes a big twist, HUMANS ARE FORERUNNERS. Period. End of Story.
Any one who says they aren't, prove it.
P.S. worm holes make time drag too.
Makes sense. But In the books all the times are relevant, traveling at superluminous speed or not.
