Heres the first Chapter of the mini story, I got a lot more already made so leave some answers about whether you guys want more.
The Longsword shot by the covenant ship, following it to Earth. Master Chief lies inside the boarding entrance, trying to figure out how to get inside, or out, of the vessel. He thought he could still hear Cortana, but she had faded away miles ago. Master Chief still hears the wise words of Cortana in the back of his helmet. He new he wouldn't see her again so that is all he had. The only way he knew where he was headed was through the Com system. A thought to be marine in a nearby station continued to send the Spartan reports on what was going on, where he was going, and who would help. The Long sword swept to the boarding entrance and saw Master Chief inside through a window in the hatch.
"You find a way in Master Chief?" said the Marine.
"Yes, I've found a way to open the door, but I'm not sure what to expect on the inside. Remember, I didn't come for a fight." said Master Chief.
"Well, If you can manage to get the space-side hatch open then you can bail out and hitch a ride with the Longsword. You've done this before, remember?" said the Marine.
At that point he realized who he was talking to.
"Keyes?" said Master Chief.
"Yes, John?" said Keyes.
"How did you make it back?" said Master Chief.
"Our Arbiter friend got us a lift. Don't worry, we'll get you outta there soon enough." said Keyes.
Spartan 117 was known for his all-around ability, strength, speed, agility, and knowledge. But this was a tough task for a spartan. He needed to pry the hatch open somehow, and there were no objects around. The area was dimmly lit and lonely. It reminded Master Chief of his missions in the long empty hallways of the first Halo. Then the quietness of the area changed, as a missile traveled through the hatch. A second missile went by the Spartan and impacted with the inside hatch. Debris began to suck out of the ship and Master Chief managed to get behind a pillar.
"Keyes! Did you do that?" said Master Chief.
"Well, you couldn't possibly get that thing open, now could you?" said Keyes.
"No. But it would be nice to have a little warning." said Master Chief
"Now, you will have to listen carefully. The Longsword will be moving the same speed as the covenant ship. So all you have to do is leap out and make it on. From there the ship will taxi you to our base. Is that clear?" Keyes said.
"Yes ma'am." said the Spartan, respecting her authority.
Master Chief turned the corner and immidiately got sucked out of the ship. As he glided through the air he took a glance at Earth and it's surroundings. The planet was spotted with orange and red battlefields. He saw dozens and dozens of covenant cruisers taking out Earth's defenses one by one. The covenant ship that he hitched a ride on was the size of a dime now, windling to the Earth. As it flew he managed to catch countless brutes fly out of the ship from where he departed. He then realized he needed to catch his plane, literally. He guided himself to the Longsword and latched on. One of the last human space vehicles was on his way to one of the last human defenses. But that would be too easy, and nothing has been going Earth's way. The Longsword ran into a couple of Phantoms on its short travel. By this time Master Chief was inside the ship watching through the pilots view. Because of the speed of the Longsword, It easily blew past them. But not to the Station, to the remains of Earth.
