I'm fairly new to PC gaming, I've always stuck with console but I'm learning more and more that PC's are far more superior to consoles and so I wanted to try Halo 2.
Apparently you can play it online still on the PC? I haven't a clue.
Anybody care to shed a little light on the topic?
PC's are superior in most aspects.
Halo 2 is not a good example of a PC game. Unlike the original Halo PC, Halo 2 Vista is a straight up Xbox port, and is basically an Xbox game, so much so it works better with a 360 controller than a M+K.
To your question, yes Halo 2 Vista still has "LIVE" and you can use your 360 Gamertag to log in and earn achievements etc BUT there is NO Matchmaking, instead you have a server browser. Finally, the player count is always below 100, sitting around 30-75 at any one time.
Any more questions and I'll try to help.
