I'd like some feedback for this map concept before I build it. Would this be fun, or just confusing?

Double Asylum: it's exactly what it sounds like. I'm going to build an exact scale replica of Asylum floating in the air right next to Asylum, so there's two identical versions of the map right next to each other (about 20 feet apart).

You can get from one Asylum to the other via Jetpack, grav lifts, and via five teleporter channels that send you to the corresponding spot on the other Asylum. You can shoot back and forth between the two.

Red Base will be shifted over to New Asylum, Blue Base will stay at Old Asylum. Both teams will have spawns on both halves. Weapons will be spread out across the two Asylums.

Maybe make red base have less of an advantage.

That part is completely up to you. Depends on how detailed you get with it.

No more or less detailed than the original Asylum, so there will be exactly twice as many Forge objects. I've heard some people complaining about screen lag on Asylum but I've never noticed it myself. I want to keep it in mind for this project, but I don't know what to do differently.

Well just build it, and also, I've noticed lag around the ring of the map, but that is due to having pieces merged with one another.

i like it!! sounds perfect, and asylum i feel is too small sometimes, especially for sniping, i say go for it, ill be your first download :)

i like it!! sounds perfect, and asylum i feel is too small sometimes, especially for sniping, i say go for it, ill be your first download :)

As far as I can tell the only advantage Red has is that you can Jetpack up to a cliff and hang out there for 10 seconds while you shoot people down below, right? Sounds easy enough to fix with a hard kill instead of a soft kill, or am I forgetting something else?

the samllest BTB map is what Trident? and i have a feeling this will be smaller than Trident, so i say it could be a big 4v4 map and also a 5v5 squad map, either its a good idea and i think it should be made

Look through a scope from Sniper spawn through Ring 2 across to the opposing Sniper spawn.

So what you are saying is that despite the map being one of the possibly best maps in the game that is commonly played on, you want to ruin it?

Just download Sanctum it is infinitely better than whatever you are planning on making.
