Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're limited to Bungie's lobby. Since there is super secret stuff being worked on behind closed doors, obviously you wouldn't be able to take a tour (at least not right now). Sadly, I don't think you would get to see a lot of the studio.

Кланяються мені!

Now everybody assumes Bungie would strike him down before he even saw it coming. I think it would be awesome for them to welcome him in with open arms, give him a free tour, a sneak peek at destiny, a bunch of free swag and an autograph from the team- all in spite of everybodys (highly logical [although very pessimistic]) views.

I have a solution.

They should create Bungieland.
Make a mini-mini theme park in a left over rental space in a strip mall, where for an admission fee of $25.00 you can;
-Walk through glassed in exhibits of Bungie past projects
-See what may have been an original MAC that some of their first games were made on.
-MC statues, maquettes & miniatures, the arsenal
-Story board drawings
-See a diorama of 'Jackals in the Courtyard' while wearing 3D glasses
-Have an exhibit of empty bottles and cans from the latest Pentathalon
-Sit in a 1/3 scale replica of a Warthog kiddie ride. Just don't put it in 'Reach' mode for it will flip you mercilessly, and you must sign an insurance waver before entering.
-Piped in looped theme song music
-A video game console where you can play 2 minutes of any of the preloaded selection of past games
-Come to a veiled window where you must insert $5.00 to have the curtain rise to see Ling-ling's head for 15 seconds
-At the end, for another $10.00 have your picture taken with a wax sculpture or Urk.

Then you can browse the 10' x 10' gift shop (in the remaining space left).

Problem solved.
Everyone goes home happy!

Why should they let you in? Think about this very carefully now.

i have got the perfect plan, you drive near the parking area when everyone is leaving follow one of them home and wait till they go out to a public place like a bar or some thing and become friends with them, now here you can take 2 options

A invite your new friend and bungie employee over and then knock him out tie him up and lock him in your celler, take his uniform and key card and go to bungie acting like him and there you go private tour.

or B you could become great friends with him and constantly make hints about how you would love to see his work place and if you could get a tour

i prefer plan A but it's your choice =)

"We live in a special time; the only time where we can observationally verify that we live in a very special time" - Lawrence Krauss.

I was a finalist :P

I'm pretty sure most of those answers are common logic. Bungie HQ is just like any HQ, and HQ's tend to have security clearances, security guards, and anything else with the word security in it. It also means they have strict protocols for dealing with people who do not have the proper authority to enter the premises; more so now that they have an upcoming IP closer to fruition. Any scenarios where the new project could be leaked are thought about and acted upon to ensure these scenarios do not occur (prevention is the best form of treatment after all).

So - other than seeing the studio Bungie work in (from the outside of cause) - there is no real point to attempting to perform what you have stated in your OP; as it would seem to not only waste your time, but securities time as well.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

You'd probably get beaten up by Jerome if you tried that.

Halo 3 Longshore playable on Team Fortress 2 vids

I'm not a employee but here's what they might say.

How would I be treated? ---- Depends
Would I be given a tour? --- Maybe
Could I purchase souvenirs? - How much?
Could some pictures/autographs? - Depends
How long could I stay there? - It varies
Could I get hugs? ---------- Maybe
Could I perhaps have lunch with some employees? - Not really sure.

:P Don't take this answer too serious, but you have to considering that they are quietly working on a secret project. Better off not to bug them.

(At least you can hang out with Jermone, right? He's a cool dude to pay respect for)

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

If you state your B.net account, time and manage to make Jerome cry, you'll get in.

But Jerome never cries...

  • 02.15.2012 10:30 AM PDT

We are in high security mode these days, so getting in is not very likely

However, Pax is in our backyard, and there are always a bunch of us that go every year. Hanging out and getting food then is your best bet.

But yeah, Jerome feeds on gamer souls if you don't have Deej or Urk standing next to you.

Just be satisfied taking a photo of the front. Otherwise you may (and probably will) be sorely disappointed.

I'm really curious what they do to unsuspecting job applicants who think they can wander in and drop off a resume/portfolio sample.

Simple answer. Ever seen Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 2? The part when they put that big shield around hogwarts?... Well yeah bungie studios has one of them shields around it. You can't get past unless you are employed.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Bungie studios is a place of business, but if you work their it seems to be like a caravel for smart people.
