I would like to know if this name has any meaning to Bungie.
Or if anyone else heard of it.

I typed in "Arte Seven Bungie" into google and the first article was titled: "Halo Reach Illuminati Symbols of Bungie"

I lost all interest there, but for you I copied this from the sub-text:By digging around in company name registrations, it's been found that the name Arte Seven is also registered and addressed to Bungie's officesEdit: I distinctly copied the period from the end of the sentence in the sub-text but the period never showed up in my copied text, the period is found twice in the dotted i's of the Illuminati.

"Noble Seven" I know right! From what company do the Bungie employees get paid? I think on all their checks it says "Arete Seven". Some say that "Arete Seven" is a branch of the illuminati. And that the destiny symbol represents the Holy Grail.

Wow, that is awesome, I wonder if it is actually true.

It's actually "Arete Seven," as I found out a few years back:

Oddly enough, it appears that my original post has been deleted/hidden (conspiracy, anyone?), but I have recovered it from a quote later on in the thread:

I was bored tonight so I looked to see if Harold Ryan's number was listed anywhere online. I found it (although google told me the number was just Bungie's switchboard, so don't go pranking it if you find it), and the site listed his job as the owner of a company called "Arete Seven." A quick google revealed this page, which says that a Kirkland based company named Arete Seven is doing business as "Bungie." (Use CTRL-F to bring up the "find" window and type "Bungie").

I looked up the word Arete and found that it is Greek for "Noble." So Bungie is the Noble Seven Company?

How primary of a source is that? Did they ever say where they got their information?

The source they link to says it's all employee-driven:
Quite accurate (based on statistical significance, and match with H-1B data given below) is the Game Industry Salary Survey that is conducted by Game Developer / Gamasutra / CMP Media every year (for several years in a row now). It's people like you and me who contribute data points to this survey, and the more industry people who contribute the more accurate it gets.

Indeed. It is quite suspicious.

I was actually in the middle of checking the sources given. So far this is where I've tracked the information to: http://www.flcdatacenter.com/CaseH1B.aspx

and apparently "The Foreign Labor Certification Data Center is developed and maintained by the State of Utah under contract with the US Department of Labor, Office of Foreign Labor Certification."
