Does anyone else find it hard to read a Bungie employees post when they're giving you a straight forward answer? I mean, they've always got this indirect inside joke kinda humour. And whenever I see what seems like a straight forward answer I always think there's some sort of 20 year old reference jammed in there.

Edit: I'm not mad bro. I find their quirky humour funny. Even though it can be annoying sometimes.

...I'm late for school now :/

Double Edit: Up until now I was a bit iffy on my opinion of DeeJ. But now, well... Scroll down.

I <3 Bungie

Urk is the master of this. It's why we love him so.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

If it is not a vague answer, it is a picture of a cat.

Yeah, it's really annoying.

I was a victim of a series of accidents, as are we all.

Sorry but my heart belongs to Qbix89 and Recon Number 54 for this.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

I definitely agree with you, OP.

Surely a writer for our community has the first priority of addressing us with coherent and correct information. However, DeeJ and Urk seem to completely reject that sometimes, and just write a paragraph full of inside, lame jokes, while completely neglecting the issue or question raised.

I acknowledge this isn't a huge problem, and at the end of the day, a lot of our questions are answered. However, the lack of clarity put aside for terrible jokes which only a minority of members will find funny, is easily aviodable, and something in which Bungie community writers should definitely take notice of in the future.

Just my two cents.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

I think that the way that they sometimes do that is awesome, but I can see how it can become a problem.

Sometimes starting back from square one does good...

Ask smart questions
http://catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

Whenever I ask a question to a Bungie employ it is not about their next big project, I do get coherent answers and funny jokes. I think if people stopped asking about things that they cannot talk about then they would get some kind of answer.

I used to get excited when I saw that gold emblem on a thread. I thought I would have an opportunity to see something that was worth reading. Some informative feedback from the source itself. 90% of the time it was Shishka being a douche. Needless to say, I no longer put any emphasis on who it is that posts. Moderators, employees, mythic members... We're all just as likely to have an opinion that isn't worth reading. Most the time I just skim right over them.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Usually they just post pictures to describe what they're feeling ATM.

"The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit,
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it."
-Omar Khayyám-

I see you all are disturbed by the fact that you aren't true BUNGiE fans by not getting some of their jokes...I don't blame you but at the same time we shouldn't drive someone whom we love with all our heart to change their quirky nature because said nature is what makes them unique and different the countless others who try to woo us with false hopes and dreams.

I rather have BUNGiE as it was, is, and will always be rather some dreadnaught of rehashed material and no creative juices whatsoever in its' furnace of terror and what not.

If you want BUNGiE to change then that is your wish, but it is also my wish for you to be silenced by placing you inside a vent core and frog blasting it then while having a MOAP and celebratory crouching on your burnt, charred corpse.
