what do the little images on next to topics mean

i know the yellow septegon means a bungie employee has posted in in but what about the others??

The green plus means it's a new topic.

The padlock means its locked.

The flames means it's a hot topic (50 replies).

EDIT:

The greyed out webmaster means the topic is unable to be posted in (due to having no replies for a long time).

Key

The webmaster (monkey hat dude) with a green plus means someone recently posted in it.

The flaming webmaster means the topic is a "hot" topic. (It has 51+ posts in it)

The padlock means the topic has been locked due to it being in the wrong place or a rule violation. You can no longer post in that thread.

Green Plus w/ Webmaster = Standard Topic
Fire w/ Webmaster = Hot Topic (50+ Replies)
Exclamation Mark = Important or Top Topic
Scroll/Paper = A Kind of Important Notice
Padlock = Locked Topic (no longer able to reply to it)

Here are a few I suppose.

I still want Blue Flame for 200+ replies, as mentioned previously for the next bnet update.

See the threads at the top of each forum mate? They have the exclamation marks? Those mean the threads are 'stickied.' Stickied threads generally have important information in them if you click them and read them.

In every forum there is an 'FAQ' sticky, which answers all kinds of website related questions. This one is in there. This one is in there as well. I'd advise checking it out. It might help you with other questions too!

Cheers.

A little while ago I made a thread pertaining to hot topics (the gorilla with the fire) stating that at a certain amount of replies the flame should go blue because it would be aesthetically pleasing at whatnot.

Adding to that idea, white flames could look cool too... white hot... :D

It looks awesome. But I'd personally make it 250 (just a better milestone number imo)

This thread has 300+ replies but still has red flames. Did they remove the blue flames?

EDIT: And the "render-to-video" thread has 200 replies, and still has red flames.

Blue flames is just a user suggestion for threads with "x" (200) amount of replies. This is not a site feature currently.
