Subject: What did Spark mean?

In the bonus video of the terminals, Spark mentions to the elite soldier that his "people have grown so much in last 100,000 years". I was unaware there were Sangheili 100,000 years ago.

Can anyone explain this to me?

Bungie.Match.com: Our Johnson knows what the ladies like.

You kind of answered your own question.

Pardon? Are you saying the entire species evolved from non-sentient TO sentient and space faring in 100,000 years?

Respect skill, Not rank.

maybe not necessarily non-sentient, but a much more primative version, like the monkey to our human.

Their were. They were just one of the many species preserved by the forerunners when they activated the Halo ring. Their were humans back then to and also brutes...and jackals...etc. They were all there. They just didnt have all the technology

Despite the atrocious grammar, this guy's got it.

The Sangheili were one of the preserved races that were reinstated after the Array fired.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

He's talking about all the spiecies that the Librarian saved in the Ark. When they were put on the Ark, they were basically hunter-gatherers, or in small concentrations of huts and the sort, nothing too advanced.

In 100.000 years, there is more than enough time for a spiecies to go from hunter-gatherer to space faring.

He actually said, "You people have grown so dramatic in the last 100,000 years." I think it wasn't much aside from a casual statement in regards to how the Elite offered up his life and referred to Spark as an Oracle.
